  I stayed in the Holiday Express Sierra Vista for one night. It was a very nice experience. > I chose a room with 2 queen beds, it was clean, the bed was very comfortable, there were pillows with different levels of firmness and the AC worked efficiently. The reason I'm taking one star off is that the shower is kind of a fall risk for a senior like me because the tub floor is completely smooth, it doesn't have the rough finish that prevents slipping and falling. I had to throw down a towel on it while I showered to make it less slippery. > the staff is attentive and responds to any requests efficiently, when I first checked in and entered the room I noticed a "doggy" smell. I called front desk to ask for a different room and I was moved to another one immediately. > the hot breakfast included in the price was a very pleasant surprise. Scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, gravy and biscuits is something I haven't seen in many other hotels. And the coffee that is available 24 hrs a day in the lobby is excellent , so much so that I've just ordered some beans to brew at home. > all in all if I need to go back to Sierra Vista in the future I'll definitely choose this hotel.

  Sporadic AC - not a problem during the day- you can adjust what you're wearing, tried auto setting, on setting, lowering the thermostat, but it still had moments of sweltering alternated with pleasant coolness all through the night with a grating metal sound that would not likely have been a problem except we were awake, sweating near to death. Room itself was incredible! Clean, comfy, tasteful, beautiful. Wish we had known and gotten a bunk bed room for the kids. Breakfast was astounding (push-button pancake machine?! Never seen this before- son had to try- we all watched, fascinated. Plus the usual AND cinnamon rolls, chocolate milk, cheese omlets, bacon, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, and Ooikos yogurt. My son was talking about it all day. Staff were exremely amiable - we were on the first floor, and they got ice from thel locked kitchen ice machine for us as there were only ice machines on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and got us a disposable knife to cut fruit we brought with us for dinner. There is a coffee bar with a machine that grinds the beans before percolating the grounds! Delicious! With French vanilla creamer (a necessity for my wife). Bathroom sink was in the bathroom - our preference is in the room - which is more convenient for families. The room was huge and it would have easily fit adjacent to the door. Parking is free and plentiful. Would gladly stay again, but in a different room-not 131! Or hopefully, the AC will have been fixed! Thankful it was only 96 degrees and we were on the bottom floor!

  The staff at this location was very helpful. Amber at the front desk gave great customer service. The room was very clean. Maids came in and clean up the room every day. Hotel breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Sierra Vista.

  As an IHG Diamond member, we are often travelling for work. I can honestly say that we've never experienced such outstanding customer service until we met Amber at the front desk. She is friendly, lively, professional, and resourceful. When the public hotel dryer wasn't functioning properly after several attempts, we were frustrated because we had to work the next day. She kindly allowed us to dry very damp clothes in their industrial dryer. Not only that, she delivered our clothes to our room! Truly exceptional customer service. Never let her go, IHG. Give her a raise immediately. It's so heartening that someone cared enough to go above and beyond for us.
