  I had some clients book a room with this hotel, I think they spoke with someone from India. When I dropped them off at the hotel, they came back out immediately and told me there was no vacancy and that they in fact did not have a room reserved even though they paid and gave credit card information. Totally crazy.

  Nice hotel. Good pool and great breakfast. Reasonably priced and very clean. Not a five star hotel but an excellent value.

  This place was ok. Location was good, the staff were friendly and did a great job, room was a little dated but not bad, and the price was decent. I guess the only problem I had was the $15 a day parking they charge you for. I’m sure it’s in the fine print, and it’s not a ridiculous amount of money but it adds up over several days. Not a huge deal but just add it into my bill upfront don’t try to sneak it in. It may have swayed my decision on where to stay. I guess I’ll check the fine print before booking next time. Overall this is your basic Holiday Inn Express and I’d probably stay here again.

  It's actually 15-20 minutes from Sedona. Was still a good launching pad for our stay. Overpriced for what you get but you're paying for location.

  I stayed one night from April 9 to April 10 at Holiday Inn Express Sedona – Oak Creek as a couple. To be fair, the hotel itself was decent and clean, and the staff was not unfriendly. However, overall, the experience did not justify the price at all. It felt like the rate was heavily inflated simply because it’s Sedona, not because of the quality of the hotel or amenities. The biggest disappointment was the parking fee. There was no clear notice or explanation about this prior to arrival or during booking. At check-in, I was told it would be $15, but my card was actually charged $15.99. It may seem like a small difference, but it reflects a lack of transparency. More importantly, I have stayed at many Holiday Inn properties before and this is the first time I’ve ever been charged for parking—especially in a location like Sedona where parking space is plentiful. This felt unnecessary and honestly unreasonable. I strongly believe the parking fee should be refunded. Another major issue was the A/C noise at night. It was extremely loud and made it very difficult to sleep. Even after turning the unit off, the noise didn’t completely stop. Eventually, I had no choice but to unplug the power to get some quiet. That’s not something guests should have to deal with, especially when paying premium rates. Overall, while the hotel is not terrible, it is definitely not worth the price, and the unexpected extra charges and noise issues made the stay disappointing. Sedona is a beautiful place, but based on this experience, I would recommend others to carefully compare options and double-check for hidden fees like parking before booking. Personally, I would choose a different hotel next time.
