We absolutely loved staying at the Kimpton!! The entire resort was newly renovated, the rooms were clean and the pool was beautiful. We ordered food from their restaurant multiple times and their nachos were HUGE and their tacos were super flavourful. I would absolutely recommend this resort. It was such a nice getaway and felt like a true vacation.
Our company stayed at Kimpton for a conference and Kimpton provided most of the meals. Way ahead of the conference, they have been informed by the team about dietary needs.
The kitchen and wait staff was amazing in accommodating these dietary restrictions. The first night they had no clue or idea what's needed but by lunch the next day, one lady took it seriously and had the kitchen prepare something.
Room is amazing, though I heard some rooms AC is not cooling enough for the Arizona heat, I think that was sorted out immediately.
The location is nice, not too overwhelming big. Pools are a nice retreat and the over-all feel of the resort is nice.
It's close to town which has nice restaurants. There's also a trail close by for a quick run.

I had a fantastic stay at Kimpton Miralina Scottsdale! The staff truly made the experience exceptional.
A special thank you to Keith and Scott, the bellmen, who were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Casey, Amanda, and Tammy at the front desk provided outstanding service from check-in to check-out—they were warm, professional, and made us feel right at home.
Sam behind the bar was absolutely amazing! The drinks were excellent, and Sam's personality and attentive service made every visit to the bar a highlight of our stay.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The pool area had the perfect laid-back vibe—relaxing, peaceful, and exactly what we were looking for. Overall, this was an outstanding experience, and it's the amazing staff that really sets this hotel apart.
For the sake of sustainability, you get to drive past multiple well tended golf courses, a resort covered in bright green lawn, with at least four pools on the property, and come to your room to discover there are no bath tubs whatsoever anywhere on the resort because that "wastes water". Five stars, of course. Scottsdale, Arizona, never change. The customer service is impeccable.

This was our 5th year staying here for my husband's birthday but the first time as the Kimpton.
I called before we checked in to see if we could check in a little early before we went to see a show. When I called they said they could not accommodate my room that I booked because of the construction. This was very disappointing because I booked a villa and they could not accommodate the larger room.
When we arrived we did not receive the same information at check-in that the people next to us did. Our check-in experience was very brief and not very informative nor did it feel very welcoming. At check-in, the young man who checked us in said that we were being upgraded to a larger room with more amenities, that was absolutely not true. The room we usually stay in is two stories with two beds, this was a one-story suite. He also could not explain how the breakfast that was included worked.
The room itself is nice but it wasn't what we booked previously and not what we were expecting to stay in.
Despite not getting the room that we booked, the stay overall was good. The food is a huge improvement over all of our previous stays. My husband visited the spa and said that it was great.
We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was wonderful and the service was wonderful. They surprised us with a birthday gift for my husband on our first night there.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time and look forward to the villas opening up again. I do hope that they look into some of the issues they had with informing guests prior to day upon arrival of issues and check-in.
