  This one is located in a quiet neighborhood. It's a really nice part of town. The bed was actually SO SO COMFY. Which is always a surprise at a hotel. The room was clean. This particular building is in the middle of renovations but other than the construction stuff outside in the parking lot you would never know. It wasn't noisy or messy. The breakfast was standard which is one of the reasons we stay here. The pool was warm and nice to swim in. There is a small selection of sodas and snacks in the lobby for purchase or cookies and lemonade for free during the afternoons and evenings. We enjoyed our stay here for 4 days and would do it again. I definitely recommend this location as well as this brand of hotels.

  I genuinely cannot believe how this hotel is treating people. New group of Indian owners just took over, and a LARGE amount of long-term guests who booked and paid through the previous manager are now being told to pack up and leave because the hotel claims the past manager was doing something fraudulent with the payments. We all paid THOUSANDS of dollars for our rooms through the end of the month. We didn’t give money to some random person. We followed the instructions of the MANAGER before she got fired. Now suddenly we’re being told our payment means nothing, we have an hour to leave, and it’s basically our problem. The new owner literally stood there saying “BUYER BEWARE” at us when we told them we pre paid. Buyer beware over and over, as if saying it enough times somehow makes the hotel completely immune from responsibility for what its own manager did. A competent owner would not punish guests because his manager was committing fraud with points. And they certainly wouldn’t kick out families and elderly people who paid thousands to stay (with no refund at all mind you) Arizona recognizes apparent authority law. If a business puts someone in a position where customers believe that person has authority to act for the business, the new owner can’t just say afterward “well, internally she wasn’t allowed to do that” and pretend the entire situation disappears and they can kick everyone out. I don’t know what they think buyer beware means in America, but it’s not some law that you can take thousands from several people for hotel rooms, then kick them out with no refund if you simply fire the manager who booked them. Don’t come here. Any positive reviews are from before the new owners came in and made up laws they don’t understand. Mind you IHG (the parent company) said themselves they strongly do not agree with what’s happening and find this very wrong, but this specific hotel is privately owned so they personally can’t do anything. Oh also a list of things that are broken- the pancake machine at breakfast, the elevator, the washer (so you have to drive to the nearest laundromat like fifteen minutes away), the pool and hot tub lights so it’s pitch black at night and not safe for kids, the side entrance is blocked by old chairs and tables stacked up, and the water in the whole hotel gets turned off very often from 12-3 with like an hours notice.

  Got ripped off and scammed by one of their employees for $900. If you don’t have pets and stay on the first floor mice are provided in the rooms. Pool disgusting.

  I AM AN ARIZONA RESIDENT BUT TRAVEL FOR WORK SO EVERY TIME I COME HOME I BOOK THIS HOTEL NO MATTER THE SEASON BECAUSE ITS NEVER LET ME DOWN. THE BREAKFAST ALWAYS FRESH, ROOMS ALWAYS CLEAN, AND STAFF ALWAYS READY TO HELP WITH ANYTHING YOU NEED OR HAVE AN ISSUE ABOUT. I REALLY LOVE THE LOCATION BECAUSE ITS RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYTHING. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE IS JUST EASY. YOU EVER NEED AN EASY EXPERIENCE AFTER DEALING WITH THE WORLD I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. YES ITS HOLIDAY INN EXPESS BUT NOTHING IS RUSHED ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE AS WHOLE♥️. I LOVE IT HERE

  This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I booked a non-refundable reservation through Expedia because I've always trusted Holiday Inn Express. At check-in, I was surprised by an additional $100 incidental deposit that I don't recall being disclosed during booking. Since my reservation was non-refundable, I had no choice but to pay it. The main elevator was broken, so we had to use a dirty, cramped service elevator. Our room was at the far end of a dark, warm hallway, and when we finally got inside, we discovered there wasn't even any toilet paper in the bathroom. When I called the front desk, the employee who identified herself as Shelby said she was too busy to bring any and told me to come downstairs to get it myself. I asked for her name because I intended to leave a review, and the call ended abruptly. When I went to the front desk, the situation escalated for reasons I still don't understand. I was told the police had been called and that I was trespassing—even though I had just checked in as a paying guest. Within minutes, officers arrived and escorted me off the property. A simple request for toilet paper should never end with a guest being removed from the hotel. I expected professionalism and basic customer service, but instead I left shocked and disappointed. Afterward, I read other reviews of this property and realized my experience doesn't appear to be an isolated incident. I won't be staying at this location again.
