Interesting experience. Would definitely recommend. The 100 years old manually operated lift is quite a ride.

The Hassayampa Inn is a lovely, historic hotel conveniently situated in downtown Prescott. Monica checked me in and was friendly & helpful at multiple points during my stay. Really, the entire staff was polite and eager to assist in any way. I felt instantly at home.
The property itself has a charm about it that I found quite nice. You can feel the history of the place while also enjoying many comforts of modern accommodations. My room was very small, but well-appointed with everything I needed—including an antique desk at which to catch up on some late-night work.
There was some great live music and cocktails on the patio on Saturday night, which turned out to be an unexpected treat at sunset.
Overall, I would absolutely stay here again and recommend that others visiting Prescott do the same.

If you're looking for a place with huge rooms and bathrooms, keep going. If you're looking for a well maintained historic hotel built to the proportions people lived in 100 years years ago, this is your place. If you enjoy Jazz Age music in all the indoor and outdoor dining areas plus the lobby, this is definitely your place. This was our base for exploring Prescott for the past week. We ate breakfast in the Peacock Room every week. I recommend the skillet bowl because the chef can make a different combination every day, and it's just the right size for me. My husband recommends everything else. It's all great!

What an INCREDIBLE place to stay and it's within walking distance to all the shops and food. Staff was very friendly and our room was spotless. If you're into history this is absolutely a great place to stay, they even have the original elevator you can use upon request! We took advantage of the live band and happy hour outside from 4-6pm. The band and service again were great and even Elvis Presley stopped in to sing a song!!! Will definitely stay here again, highly recommend

If you enjoy historic hotels with a story, the Hassayampa Inn does not disappoint. The staff are friendly and professional. The lobby area is really interesting and comfortable. The coffee shop in the lobby is open early and has a solid menu. My room was just OK. Small but that's expected at an older hotel. There clearly has been an effort to update the rooms and public spaces but it's been awhile since those improvements. The AC in my room stopped cooling after the first night. It just sort of moved air around but could not get the room below 75. The bed was comfortable and the linens were clean and good quality. Under the bed was not vacuumed and the room smelled musty which I attribute to carpeting in need of a deep cleaning. I found the bathroom tight and a bit shabby. There were ample towels of good quality. Overall I found the Hassayampa to be somewhat charming but I am not likely to stay there next time.
