It was a huge hotel. This hoilday Inn charges for parking and breakfast. Food I don't recommend.Go eat somewhere else. Breakfast area can used a lot of help. It was dirty area and fruit looked like it was from days ago. The burger restaurant inside hotel did not taste good either. Found some hairs in our burgers. Good view from room that has balcony.

What a nightmare situation this was. I booked two nights here for my birthday last September, and it was kind of a splurge doing so, for me, anyway... But I wanted to have a nice time and play it safe for the weekend. Everything went generally ok during the stay, and I made extra sure to really be careful to not have anything be messy or out of place in the room when checking out, because the security deposit was a large sum, and I knew I needed it back for bills that I would have to pay just days later. So I cleared out and I patiently awaited getting my security deposit back. And I waited. And I waited..... I waited 2 full weeks, the 2nd half of which I spent seemingly hours per day trying to get on the phone with management, because the security deposit had still not gone back to my account. When I finally did get on the phone with management, I explained to them, usually it comes back within a couple days at the most. They said, "well it hasn't passed the 10th business day after your checkout, so wait until then" with no other information to offer. Even though that money was money I really needed, I made it work. Aggravated and stressed beyond all comparison, I found myself waking up on the 11th business day after my stay, calling management, and being told that my security deposit would not be returned to me because I had a smoking charge in my room. The thing is, I NEVER SMOKED IN MY ROOM. Nor did my partner. Livid, I asked to have it elevated, and they had me call back when a manager was there. I finally talked to this manager who agreed to email me the charges. Well, to this day, I just accepted defeat, but I recently read an ABC15 article and my incident was apparently not isolated. This is a pattern and many people have wrongfully been charged by this specific hotel and others. So now I'm considering fighting it once again. This is so wrong! It's a scam, and I will see through that Holiday Inn gives me back my security deposit.

The room was not dirty, but wasn't fresh at all. The bedding smelled like it was washed a month ago. If the room sits too long unused... it needs a refresh before guests use it. The security deposit was $250. What did they think I was going to take... the couch. Which wasn't nice. Parking also used to be free, but now $15 per night. They're going the way of SoCal hotels (higher add on but nothing new to offer). Facility was as clean as they could do, but also getting old and needing a remodel to keep up with newer facilities. NOT worth the price with several other hotels just as close to the airport.

IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE ITS ADVERTISED!!! It is run down and UNCLEAN! You can’t get a refund or even a room change. But with that wack job. If you’re a medical patient or disabled person, this is not for you! Mildew and mold in rooms, broken wires and outlets in walkways, broken and dilapidated elevators that are a complete sauna( or you could walk up landings outside), hallways are outside too, rooms smell like mildew and smoke(while they hand you a $500 notice if they smell smoke?!), there’s a high and mighty lady at the front desk (sweltering 85 degrees in the lobby) that will send any neurodivergent into a complete catatonic state. They add a $250 incidental fee, not what everyone else charges. Just in case you’re here as a Mayo patient too and traveled as far as we did! After 7 months of coming back and forth for medical treatment, my first and last time at this hotel. The lady at the front desk texted my phone making fun of me for being mad about a $212 room going to almost $500. I just graduated two kids, getting them to college, amidst medical treatment, and drive 14 hours to get here. Not sure you can get more inhumane than she has and it’s a tragedy. 100% would NOT recommend for your own sanity!

: Mixed experience—great check-in and shuttle, but broken room and awful 3 AM serviceMy flight to DFW was canceled, forcing me to book a last-minute room here. My experience started out wonderful. The young lady who checked me in was incredibly bubbly, kind, and extremely helpful.Unfortunately, the room had a significant issue. The balcony door was broken, allowing rain to leak inside and soak the carpet. I was simply too exhausted from my flight issues to complain, so I just dealt with it for the night. The real issue occurred at checkout just after 3:00 AM. I encountered a front desk agent (whose name sounded like Twayla) who clearly does not understand customer service or basic empathy. When I politely informed her about the broken balcony door, she completely ignored it. When I asked why a $300 hold was placed on my card instead of the advised $250, she became highly agitated. She repeatedly used the phrase "like I said" and snapped that she didn't know because I booked through a third party—completely missing the point that Holiday Inn is the entity that actually ran my card. She offered no receipt, no greeting, and treated me as if my basic questions were a massive burden. When I told her she was being rude, she argued back, told me I was complaining, and dismissively told me to "go wait on the shuttle." As paying customers, we have every right to ask questions about financial holds on our cards. While the customer isn't always right, anyone deserves a baseline level of compassion, respect, and human decency—especially a stranded traveler at 3:00 AM.On a positive note, the shuttle driver was fantastic. He was extremely kind and deeply apologetic about how I was treated. The initial check-in agent and the driver are assets to this hotel, but the checkout exchange was utterly unacceptable. I will be escalating this incident up the corporate chain.
