The night shift lady, Erin, needs to be fired. She is extremely rude and disrespectful. After traveling over five hours from Vegas, we arrived around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026. She is not the kind of staff you want representing your brand to guest when they arrive.
She was extremely sick, coughing and spreading her germs all over everyone and everything.
My daughter, who has a disability, needed to use the bathroom, so we asked Erin. She replied, “It’s locked. I would have to open it for you.” We were puzzled at this point, but it seemed like she was refusing to open it for us. My mom said she has a medical condition and that if we didn’t go now, there would be a mess right here at the desk! I will be filing a formal complaint with the ADA and the Arizona health department these actions are unacceptable and no one should be made to feel this way.
Erin slammed down her pen and threw the papers and my room key onto the desk, huffing and muttering under her breath in a very rude manner. She continued walking down the hallway, banging the walls with her keys in her hand and muttering again..
My daughter was left in tears, feeling extremely embarrassed and ashamed by Erin’s actions. It was truly shameful. Erin returned and expressed "I don't like how your mother talked to me!" . I responded by saying that my daughter needed to use the bathroom, and I wasn’t sure what the issue was.
Erin’s behavior at check-in was incredibly unprofessional. If it hadn’t been 1100 p.m. at night, I would have found another hotel.
I expressed my concern with the morning lady Allison she informed me that a manger or GM would contact me. I have not heard anything.
The next night, my mom and daughter stayed at the hotel because my daughter was extremely sick, which I can only assume was due to Erin and all the germs she spread at check-in.
My two sons and I went to have dinner and shop. We returned to the hotel around 10:45 p.m. to find that the sliding front door was locked. As we walked in, my ten-year-old son, who didn’t know the door would be locked, ran into it and hit his head, causing a loud bang.
The rude front desk lady, Erin, looked at us and continued to stand there, watching as I struggled to find my key with my hands full. A nice man came behind and opened the sliding door for us.
I confronted Erin, expressing my frustration that she had stood there, watching us struggle, and was incredibly rude. She retorted that she couldn’t see us, but I firmly disagreed. I pointed out that she had looked up when my son hit his head on the glass door, which was quite loud. Therefore, her claim that she couldn’t see us was entirely false and a complete lie.
Erin’s behavior was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. The next morning, I expressed my frustration and dissatisfaction to Allison. I requested again a call or a time to speak with a manager or general manager to discuss this matter further. Despite my request, I haven’t received any response. .
Allison was friendly and apologized, but this is not acceptable and does not make the situation right or addressed.
AAt the check-out, I requested a printout to confirm that I hadn’t been charged any changes to my room and to ensure that I would receive my $150 deposit back. However, Allison informed me that they couldn’t provide me with anything because I had booked through Expedia, even though I had paid my deposit directly to the hotel. There was something on the printout, but she assured me that she would fix it as it was an automatic system error. The other frustrating thing is using your key to have lights on is silly.
This entire experience was incredibly disappointing. I would never stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.
Erin's professionalism needs to be addressed. As your first point of contact, her unprofessional and disrespectful behavior is unacceptable. To make matters worse, she is was sick, and I have to incur additional costs and my children have missed school because your employee came to work sick and spread her illness.
