  Stayed here when my friend and I attended a woman's conference. The building is beautiful, it's kept nice and clean.It's bright and airy.Our room was good and comfortable.I love the walking shower. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

  I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Phoenix Midtown and had a fantastic experience, largely driven by the exceptionally helpful and welcoming staff. From check-in through departure, every team member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was seamless, offering great local recommendations and prompt assistance with a smile.

  One of the cleanest hotel I have stayed in. They obviously care about this property. Well kept, well stocked with a very nice selection of foods and necessities. Staff is super helpful and friendly. The bed and pillows were simply excellent. We needed good nights' sleep & we got it. Breakfast was also above average. We will stay again without hesitation.

  Very disappointing experience. This was my second time staying here, and Heydi, the person who assisted me, was very rude. They refused to accept my card payment because the card didn’t have my name on it and required me to go to a bank to withdraw cash. On top of that, they required a $200 cash deposit. These payment and deposit policies were not listed on their website either. Guests should be informed of these requirements beforehand and treated with respect. The most disappointing part was Heydi’s attitude and the way she handled the situation. After this experience, I would not stay here again.

  I have been here for the past two weeks and will probably be here for another two. My husband is being treated at one of the local hospitals, and I couldn't be more pleased with this hotel. Everyone here is amazing. Brian who works the pm shift is so kind. I'm usually coming in, sometimes crying, and he always makes sure I'm OK and sees if I need anything. Benito is the assistant general manager. He's also very kind and asks how my husband is. If there is anything I need, or any questions I have, he's on it, and takes care of it quickly. Hayden works the front desk. She's new and she's an absolute gem. She is so sweet and kind. She's always ready with a smile and takes care of anything I need help with. She has an infectious kind of joy that I love. Alicia works the front desk. She is really kind and knowledgeable. If there's anything I need or have a question about, she 100% can handle it. Stephanie is at the front desk late at night when I wander down for a beverage. She's a doll. I had a friend checking in late one night and she had security help with where to park her car in the parking lot. It was really late and we never felt unsafe. Stela is the general manager. She is amazing! Also so kind. (Kindness is a theme at this place.) I can't go into how she helped me, because it's personal. But she has gone above and beyond for me and I will never forget it. Housekeeping, I don't think housekeeping is mentioned enough in reviews. I spend long hours at the hospital and take a shower every time I get back from there. Sometimes two or three times a day. As I walk out the door, I ask one of the wonderful people behind the desk for clean towels, and they are there when I get back. Even though I've only asked for clean towels, I'll find they've emptied the garbage or something just as nice. It doesn't seem like a lot, but when you've been at a hospital all day, and come back to your hotel and find fresh towels, along with other services you didnt ask for, it's every thing. So thank you to housekeeping! I never see you, but your like little fairies walking around doing good deeds. My room is so nice and the ac is cool. The bed is comfy and the TV is great! The bathroom is nice and the water pressure is outstanding. It takes a lot of water pressure to get the conditioner out my hair and I have zero complaints. The hotel is clean and welcoming. A fabulous breakfast is served downstairs. They have a large selection of food to choose from and it's fresh and tasty! The lobby is spacious with a lot of seating options. My husband's friends will want to visit and they have an area for that in the lobby rather than having them in my room. It looks like they have some conference rooms as well if you need one for business. The pool is crystal clear. Although I haven't taken the opportunity to use it, it looks like a nice place to spend a few hours. Something that I appreciate, as a woman here alone, is that you need your room key to go up in the elevator. Not just anyone can come up. This is a great place to stay for anyone including but not limited to, families, business travelers, people on vacay, or people like me who want to be close to a loved one in the hospital.
