They need to do some work with their rooms, when you're standing in the bathtub as you're filling it, it says to go one way for hot and the other way for cold, burnt my foot because I followed the instructions except their backwards. Water damage and electrical panel missing screw, and you better be careful because our attic area box had a lock on it, but the lock wasn't locked. The second day our card wouldn't work when we went to the door because the guy at the desk didn't put us in for the right amount of days. Not very efficient. Takes the relaxing out of it that's for sure. I would come here a few times a year just to get away from the house and the kids and all the dogs and stuff. The way the last two trips have been I don't know if I'm going to go anymore.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Our room was not ready upon the 4 PM advertised check-in time. Front desk staff was rude, unaccommodating, and showed no urgency in resolving the issue. We were left waiting with little communication or apology for the inconvenience. Extremely disappointing customer service and not the level of hospitality expected. I would not stay here again or recommend this property to others.

The rooms are inconsistent… I stayed in January for a few days and had a nice big TV with a beautiful shower and great amenities even though it is extremely noisy from neighbors. The room was so nice last time that I decided to overlook that fact. Bad idea. I am back now for a stay a few months later and the room is NOT nearly as nice as the first… a jacuzzi tub that does not work, a tv HALF the size as the last room that is fuzzy and almost unwatchable, and I can hear the movement and conversation of EVERY neighbor! I am on the lower floor this time, and I can hear nothing but the people upstairs stomping around and the “connectable” room next door’s tv. AND all conversations being had at 11:30pm. Not worth the discount. I’ll definitely just pay the extra $50 a night next time to stay somewhere else. So disappointing…

This place is awful. It's genuinely not worth coming. Check in was at 4:00 we arrived at 4:30 and we're told our room would not be ready and they had no estimate of how long it would take for our room to be ready a major inconvenience with traveling with baggage. After we were sent away and told they would call we waited 2 hours only to come back and be told they tried to call us but having absolutely no phone calls on either of our phones. The front desk at no point apologized or tried to be communicative. Additionally the room is dirty. And several of the appliances simply do not work. You're better off somewhere else.

This 2nights/3days at Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort were disappointed for two reasons. 1. Misleading check-in policy. The hotel policy clearly states at 4 pm check-in time, but our room was not ready until 12minutes before 7 pm. At the front desk, staff explained that 4pm only means the front desk opens to begin the check-in process, and guests must wait to be called when the room is actually ready. After a full travel day, waiting several extra hours to access the room is unacceptable. 2. Dog waste bag stations were empty; no bags were restocked at any point. For a property that brands itself as pet friendly, this reflects poor planning and upkeep. Overall, the property was not prepared to accommodate guests as promised. This stay didn’t meet basic hospitality standards and we would not recommend this property.
