I booked on line through Priceline. Got a really good rate for 3 nights. I can nit do stairs at all so Priceline had me mobility room accessibility. Well, the clerk that checked me was shocked at rate She was upset to say the least. She states to me, oh because you booked a handicap room? I said, well no, I can't do stairs. Previous injury. So, she puts me a room completely handicap bathroom, tub, location was right next to the Electrical room. The knocking was terrible the few minutes I was in there. Also, smelled of smoke. My 150.00 deposit was paid. I did request a downstairs in the back, where I had stayed 3 days back in April. She didn't listen, handicap was again brought up at that rate. I had her move me to what I requested in the first place. Pet also, dog area in back.
Well, I got moved, entered into a room, that was ok. But, I sat down on the chair, and fell right on floor! Broken leg, missing leg. Floor lamp didn't work, no hangers, smelled of dog pee. Curtains were shredded along the bottom as well. Checked out today. Tell her about these items, and it turned into being my fault. You collect a deposit, you better be sure of things like this. She continues to call the maid, regarding my room for deposit. The maid glared at me, like i had done something terribly wrong. She stated, the floor lamp was missing!? I told the clerk, go look, its behind the chair that was also broken. 10 minutes later, she comes back, says sign here to receive your deposit back. Not one apology or acknowledgement of what i was accused of. Nor, did she bother to ask if I was ok after i fell on the floor sitting in the broken chair.
Guess, it's just my fault. Well, I hope to hear from Mr. Patel regarding the maid, and clerk. I stayed their for 5 nights. Not a thank you, or welcome nor a thing was addressed to me during my stay.
I see now, about the rewards I could of been informed of, so hopefully they honor me something for "handicap ", theft accusations, rude staff"!!
