  Here on business for a few days and this HI was conveniently located to where I was going. The interior lobby and dining areas look nice and recently updated. The rooms however were more cosmetic that renovated. Crack sink, dirty carpets dark interior lighting worn outlets (USB), etc. For an HI with a restaurant this was more of what I see at a Holiday inn Express, very minimal buffet only. Happy hour special however was a good value. Service was good. Bed comfortable. AC worked but loud. Overall a little below what I expected for HI.

  As a hotshot owner-operator, I know finding a hotel with actual truck parking is half the battle for any trucker. I picked this Holiday Inn because it looked like they had room for trucks, so I called ahead to check. They said yes, and they meant it. There's plenty of truck parking, and I didn't have to circle the lot or squeeze in somewhere sketchy. That alone puts this place on my list for future runs. The rooms are decent. They're clean and comfortable enough for a good night's rest, but not five-star. The service has been great, though. The staff were friendly and helpful from my first phone call through check-in. The gym is a real plus if you want a solid workout in the morning before hitting the road. The hotel and the street around it were nice and quiet, and I felt safe here the whole stay, with my rig parked right outside. If you're a trucker of any kind, whether you drive OTR, regional, or hotshot, and you're looking for a reliable stop with real parking, good service, and a quiet night's sleep, I'd recommend

  We reserved the hotel for a group event and could not have been more pleased with the service and hospitality. Staff was exceptional. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the AC went strong all weekend. Can’t thank you all enough for the fantastic service.

  I am currently staying at this hotel as part of a group that contracted with the hotel to reserve the entire property for a weekend event. During the six-month planning process, I toured the hotel several times with members of the staff and, as an event planner, was able to reserve my room before bookings opened to attendees. In April 2026, I reserved and received confirmation for a two-bed room with a balcony and pool view. When I checked in on September 25, 2026, I was assigned a first-floor room whose balcony doors could not be opened, rendering the balcony unusable. I immediately returned to the front desk and showed the representative my confirmation. Although she initially stated that I had reserved only a pool-view room, my confirmation clearly specified that the room included a balcony. She then asked me to wait while she assisted the 10–15 guests still in line. I subsequently spoke with Edmarie, my hotel contact during the planning process. She offered a pool-view room with a balcony, but it had one king bed rather than the two beds I had reserved. Because I am sharing the room with a friend of the opposite sex, this was not an appropriate alternative. Edmarie explained that other guests had checked in the night before and extended their stays, making my reserved room type unavailable. They should have informed those guests that the room they checked into was only available for the first night, and that they would need to move to a different room the following day because it had previously been reserved months in advance. Apparently they felt it was more important to satisfy guests with later reservations instead of a guest that participated in the planning of booking out their entire hotel for the weekend and reserved their room five months prior. I provided my phone number and was told that someone would contact me after investigating the issue, but no one followed up. I was also offered a discount; however, no discount has appeared on my account. More importantly, a $20 discount does not resolve the failure to honor a confirmed reservation made five months in advance. I am extremely unhappy with my room and with the staff’s failure to follow up or make a meaningful attempt to correct the mistake. It was clear that the hotel was not treating the situation with the seriousness it deserved. It would be one thing if I had made this reservation only a few days earlier, as the guests who received the room I reserved apparently had. However, there is no reasonable justification for the hotel’s inability to honor a reservation made five months in advance. The hotel should be held accountable for failing to honor my reservation, failing to offer a suitable equivalent, and failing to follow up as promised. I will not consider this hotel for future events or personal stays because of the way I have been treated during this visit. This situation has significantly affected my weekend, as I had been looking forward to sitting on my balcony, drinking coffee, and enjoying the pool view in the morning.
