  I was there for a family reunion and the staff made sure we felt like family. Let me start by saying the rooms were clean, that was an immediate plus for me! They only didn't get 5 on that because my door wouldn't shut sometimes but other than that I was pleased with the state of the room. The location was a location, nothing to write home about. But the best part of the entire state at this whole hotel was the staff, in particular Miss Katie. On my first day, I ran her outside, I had no idea. She was a hotel staff member and she was so friendly. When I told her my name, she already knew the spelling of it because my dad had talked to her earlier in the day. We had a lot of family members there some of them who were older, she made sure she looked out for them. When my aunt missed the breakfast, she and the other staff members made sure that my aunt had something to eat, I'll never forget that. My aunt couldn't work her TV so Miss Katie hunted her down to make sure that she knew how to use the TV. Every time I left and she was there she made sure to say have a good day and when I came back, she made sure that I knew it was Welcomed to back. Our family comes down there often and I know next time where I'm staying as long as Miss Katie is there to greet me. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you ms Katie for being stellar.

  We stayed at this HIX in Pine Bluff, ARK July 19, 2026. There are not many hotels to choose from here so, we thought a name brand hotel such as HIX would be a good place. We were so wrong. Should have turned around when we found it behind an abandoned mall. Should have left when we met a couple in the parking lot who warned us, told us the bed in their room was blood stained & had hair in it. Ugh. But it was late & we had already checked in… hoping our room was better. Our linens looked clean but, floors & walls were filthy. Smelled like reefer. Noisy a/c unit & 3” dead cricket in lobby when we arrived, want to see my picture? Ya. Hoping staff noticed & it would be gone by morning. Nope, still there. Ice makers did not work & its JULY. Breakfast was equally scary… amenities dont have to be brand new but, facility needs to be clean. When we left next morning i was reading reviews & was stated this hotel was frequently used for trafficking. I believe it. Just drive by this one… & perhaps the Super 8 or econo hotel would’ve been a better choice. We travel often… WILL NOT EVER CONSIDER A HIX IN THE FUTURE. DO BETTER HIX.

  The rooms are smelly and the surrounding are very dirty the area looks like out of a horror movie I will never go back again most definitely not a safe place!

  I'm here every year for our annual pilot's weekend gathering and they treat us like family. Great staff lead by Ms Kattie. The Front desk staff is very friendly and I would definitely recommend eating breakfast here with the wonderful ladies that made sure everything was clean and fresh! Looking forward to next year and although it could use some upgrades in the rooms, the staff still makes sure it's clean as possible and they try very hard to make sure everything works, like the Toilet they fixed as soon as I had a problem. Thank you to everyone that help make our stay a great one!!
