DO NOT COME UNLESS YOU HAVE 4 WHEEL DRIVE CAR Look im normally not the person to be dramatic enough to write in all caps as the first line but if my radiator didn’t crack because of how bad the roads are getting up to the campground I wouldn’t have wrote this. This place has horrible gravel roads getting to the lodge and especially getting up to the campgrounds. I have a 1997 Honda Civic and when I was trying to reverse because my car could not get up the hill I hit a bump just enough to crack my radiator and I had to get my car towed. My mom has a 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe and another guy I talked with had a mini van and both had their wheels rolling going up the hill. Look I’ll give this place an extra star for really great mountain biking and rappelling spots for the cost of a day pass and zip lining for an extra cost so it’s good to come for the day if your brave enough to make it up and down the not as bad gravel road to the lodge but roads getting up to both campgrounds and cabins are really bad. The people here were super helpful and really nice and helped with anything they could. But It’s very odd to me how they have Tesla charging stations and all these activities that cost extra and there gravel roads are horrible.

I have a lot of respect and love for this place. We booked the full adventure package and there was some mix up with the reservation so it got lost in the ether. They didn't have a guide working that day and instead of just saying goodbye try again another time. The lead guide Jason came in and took us out. It was his day off and he didn't hesitate to provide us with a full experience. You could tell Jason really loved his job, when you get a teacher who clearly loves teaching others. It makes everything better. I was so impressed with how they handled everything that I am already planning on returning for some guided climbing this year and my friend is excited to try their bike trails. Also I can not recommend the Via Ferrata enough! It was so fun and easy to do. If you have never climbed before I would absolutely recommend trying it. I do not recommend if you have a fear of heights. It was a very unique experience!

Love this place, go to climb all the time. However the property manangement(out by the climbs) as of late has been lacking. There is overgrown pathways, posion ivy everywhere. No ticks but the chiggers where insane this last time everyone in our group got ate up.

We recently stayed here camping in a tent and this place exceeded expectations. There were cabins available to stay in. Things they offered: walking trails, zip lining, and bike riding. Beautifully stunning property in the valley of mountains. Free range farm animals are out, some baby cows and donkeys approached our campsite in the early mornings. There were also alpacas and goats. If camping, you had to pay extra per shower you wanted to take. Overall we had an amazing stay here, would highly recommend, and will definitely be back.

Our trip to this beautiful place exceeded all of our expectations. We had a large family group there for a 3-day stay and the staff was flexible and worked with us to find accommodations for the entire group to stay in the cabins. The cabins were very clean and met all of ours needs. Our breakfast was delicious and just what we needed for a day of physical activity. We loved biking the trails and the staff member at the bike barn was helpful and quick when we needed assistance. The outdoor activity guides (Alora, Estephon and Jason) made the rock climbing and zip lining adventures ones that our family members will never forget! Thank you Horseshoe Canyon Ranch!
