  I am a Platinum member, that should show my opinion and loyalty to Holiday Inn. I am so absolutely upset with the male employee who I just spoke with on the phone. I don't normally give reviews especially bad ones, but the level of unprofessional and disrespectfulness to a woman and a group of elderly Veterans that sacrificed more than he will ever know that he should be grateful for... This group of Veterans have stayed at the location for the past 4yrs. They always looked forward to this particular hotel because they felt welcomed, safe, and well taken care of. I called to ask for help with this year's reservations as usual. The man that answered the phone told me that they got rid of all the old employees and that they no longer help individuals. Umm I'm baffled. I honestly was taken off guard by the rudeness and arrogance in his tone. However, I tried several times to explain the reason for my calling, in case there was a misunderstanding. But with each try he got worse. All he could do was reword his response without making an effort to listen and try to be helpful. Sad to say I cancelled my large reservation. we will not be bringing our business to this hotel for any future events. With a heavy heart, I will have to break this upsetting news to these elderly veterans.

  The pool area smelled musty/moldy and caused my daughters, my mom, and I to sneeze and cough practically the rest of the time there. The staff was lovely but I’d avoid the pool next time. Also my egg and cheese omelet was cold and the cheese wasn’t melted.

  Housekeeping did not change our sheets that were obviously in need of changing due to an accident. Charles the manager apologized said the housekeeper would get written up. I am not impressed and do not recommend this hotel.

  Do not trust this hotel. I arrived with a fully confirmed, prepaid booking, only to be told they greedily overbooked the property and had no rooms left.To make matters worse, they actually charged me a deposit anyway for a room I never got to step foot in. The manager on duty, Charles, was completely useless. Instead of talking about refunding the money or "walking" me to a nearby hotel, he flatly refused to help and forced me to walk away stranded.Charles and this establishment have zero ethics. They literally hold my incidental deposit, took my booking money, and left me out in the cold. Avoid this garbage dump at all costs.
