  We got i town 3hrs early then we planned and when we asked if we could check in early we was told yes but there is a $25 early check in fee . That's ridiculous, because i've never had to pay any kind of a charge for checking in early and i've stated different holiday ends all over the country. Then she got hateful on the phone and said that 's our policy.I said as sure it was.

  Stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Harrison while visiting family in the area, and this was a very solid stay. The room was clean and had some nice features. I especially appreciated that the outlets were located in convenient places around the room, which makes a difference when traveling with phones, chargers, and devices. The air conditioning worked very well and kept the room comfortable all night. The common areas were also clean and well maintained. The lobby had a welcoming feel, the indoor pool area was bright and inviting, and the breakfast area was organized and easy to use. Breakfast was decent, and I was pleasantly surprised to see they offered a turkey sausage patty in addition to the regular breakfast items. One thing worth noting is that they no longer keep coffee makers in every room as part of their sustainability policy. Instead, they offer fresh coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day. It means a little extra walking, but the sign explained that it is part of their effort to reduce single-use waste, which I can appreciate. Also, the front desk can provide a coffee maker if requested. The only minor issue was that the downstairs beverage machine did not have a water option because that feature was broken during our stay. Also, there's a Culver's restaurant right next-door! Overall, this was a clean, comfortable, and dependable overnight stop, and I would definitely stay here again. 117 Highway 43 E Harrison, AR 72601

  The swimming pool was like a creek in the middle of January. Ruined his Birthday trip. We told him we were getting a room with a warm inside pool. Not good !! The worst part no one seemed to care when we told them.

  Really not happy with this place. I came in to see when I could check in and they told me that if I come before 3pm there’s a $25 charge fee for early check in which is ridiculous and I said I have checked in and they said no it’s very kind of rude and unpleasant and really made you feel on a appreciate it. I stay in hotel hotels for a living 3 to 4 nights a week 52 weeks of the year and I expected to expensive hotels and I’ve checked into non-hotel and very unhappy with it the whole service part at the front desk and a manager and all that. If the new owners are charging $25 per second in early when the room is complete and ready just seems very wrong to me. Room I want it at 11 AM was ready and I was able to check in if I paid $25 extra. I’m not willing to do that when they already charged the amount of they charge.
