  First and foremost, from the top, down, they have the best customer service. They are in the best location in Talladega. And I know the challenge of finding good talent in some smaller towns, but this management team has cracked the code. Thanks for multiple great stays in Talladega. ~ PH

  If Google allowed zero stars, that would be my rating for Booking.com and their property partner Holiday Inn Express & Suites Talladega. Due to an unexpected family emergency, I contacted the hotel and Booking.com multiple times before my scheduled stay seeking assistance with two reservations. I spoke with several hotel employees, including management, and was repeatedly told that because I booked through Booking.com, the hotel could not cancel or modify the reservations. Booking.com, however, told me that the hotel needed to authorize the cancellation-fee waiver. Booking.com representatives advised that they repeatedly called and emailed the hotel seeking authorization but received no response. I personally made numerous calls as well, resulting in more than 10 attempts to resolve the situation before check-in. My dissatisfaction is with how the situation was handled. I made every reasonable effort to address the issue in advance, yet I was caught between Booking.com and the hotel, with neither providing an effective path to resolution. Ultimately, I was financially penalized while the two businesses failed to communicate with one another. What was especially disappointing was the lack of responsiveness when Booking.com attempted to obtain a written decision from the property. Even if the hotel ultimately chose not to approve a waiver, a timely response and policy that requires property to respond within a certain timeframe would have allowed the matter to be addressed instead of leaving me repeatedly calling both companies or paying for unused hotel rooms. Customer service is demonstrated most when something goes wrong. Based on my experience, the communication, responsiveness, and ownership of this issue fell far below what I expected from both Booking. com and Holiday Inn Express/IHG property. I would not recommend Booking.com or the location and would give 0 stars if that option were available.

  Stayed 6 nights. Breakfast was great. My kids loved it. Pool was great. Employees were VERY accomodating. Liane is top notch for sure. But all were amazing! 24 hour coffee was great too! And dove soap dispensars instead of little bars of soap were GREAT!! Lol

  In the room 30 minutes laid down started itching sat up in bed there's 2 bed bugs on the sheets. Got my shit and left.

  5-10 minutes from Top Trails off-road park. Trailer parking is tight. There's a Wal Mart 500 yards away next door and a Tractor Supply right next door.
