**Very long but thorough review from a mom who stayed for 2 1/2weeks with twins. I am from upstate NY and am moving to the area, hence the long stay. When arriving, the hotel was extremely clean, inside and out. I was greeted by Annette and Brandon ( we stayed awhile, we learned names. Lol) Annette was extremely sweet, kind, and informative. Brandon introduced himself and offered assistance if we needed it. Within 1 hour of being there I locked myself out of my room ( totally fried brain) and wasn't looked at like an inconvenience for needing another key already. The room we stayed in was on the first floor next to the pool with a king size bed and pull out sofa. Very clean, didnt have any overwhelming smells ( we stayed at a hotel on the way back that smelled like cheap cologne) and everything was great. We then went to the pool and hot tube which was AMAZING!!! The hot tub is absolutely amazing and the pool is not really cold compared to any other pool. Both indoors with a nice sundeck off the pool room. We then also met Ray, not sure what his "title" is but he also introduced himself and asked if we needed anything. We learned through out our time there that if Ray was working, the pool room was always stocked with towels and he constantly was checking to make sure it was clean with a smile. Now for breakfast. YUM! To have a hot meal every morning with twins was SUPER helpful and saved me lots on food. AND is was delicious! It varys slightly from day to day between sausage and bacon, and then types of eggs. Always sausage gravy and biscuits, pancakes ( freshly made) out of this world cinnamon rolls, cereal, bagels, oatmeal, 3 types of milk ( yes, chocolate milk!!) Yogurt etc. We where AGAIN greeted in the morning by Joy and again in the other mornings by Pam. Both where so kind and always made a few minutes to chat with my son's. Housekeeping was also so kind and never made me feel like I was a bother. Deb was always making sure I had everything I needed along with all the other ladies. Janice in the morning at the desk would always greet myself and my boys and generally made a great start to the day. So, originally I was supposed to leave on a sunday but things where not finalized and I was thinking I had to extend my stay. I ended up speaking and meeting with tammy, the manager, and she took care of everything for me!! She was able to extend my stay 5 more nights IN THE SAME ROOM! Oh, and this was the week leading up to Talladega weekend. Now, because people are... people, and tend to always review the negative or neglect to take what someone has to say thats positive, I will give you my 1 complaint to make you feel better- the microwave button stuck every once in awhile. Thats literally all i got for you. The shower was actually hot and good pressure, and everything else was as it should be, bed, pillows, refrigerator, k-cup coffee machine etc. The price I feel was more then fair being as you get access to an indoor pool, hot tube, free hot breakfast, cleanliness, the feeling of being SAFE, AND, what made the entire trip %100 better, the BEST "staff"/ group of people i have EVER met! Annette,Janice, Pam, joy, Tammy, and Brandon along with everyone else made us feel welcomed, safe, and wanted. I believe I made this long enough, (although i could elaborate more) but I will end it there and hope and pray that the owners find time to read this and know that this hotel is absolutely amazing and perfect and the staff was just truly amazing. I will NEVER stay at any other hotel down there again. Bravo!
