We had so much fun! Going in, I was wondering if we would actually see any dolphins - and we saw SO MANY! The guides were really informative and so friendly! The boat ride in itself was so relaxing - we went on the sunset tour. We weren't traveling with any small children, but it was really cool how they had crabs, fish, etc to show to the kids on the ride back to the dock. This seemed to keep the smaller kids entertained, when they may have otherwise been bored with the boat ride. And the water fight at the end was a great touch, too! We did participate in that and it was so much fun! Definitely recommend this as part of your trip!

100% recommend. My mom and I went as a Mothers Day treat and loved every minute of it- even when it was drizzling rain. (Bring a rain coat if there’s a chance of rain.) The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely engaging. We saw three or four separate pods and lots of jumping action. While out on the cruise, we saw a couple of “competitor” cruises, and worked with them to create wake for the dolphins to play in. But our boat was clearly having more fun than theirs!

My wife and I took our three kids (10, 8, 5) on this dolphin cruise and had a great experience! From the moment we stepped on the boat to when we stepped off we were met by very personable staff who were engaging, knowledgeable and friendly! We saw plenty of dolphins and my kids enjoyed the hands on sea creatures experience. If you’re looking for a dolphin cruise then pick this one!

I went on a Fun Boats Dolphin & Sea Life cruise with a group of friends, all of us in our 60s. We had a fantastic time and saw lots of dolphins. Some of them swam alongside the boat, which was thrilling. The captain and crew welcomed us onto the boat and were so personable, taking time to visit with us. Captain Dean and deckhand Jackson told lots of "Dad jokes," and Elissa patiently answered all our questions. The whole crew was very knowledgeable. Our group was up in the bow during the sea life presentation, but Jackson made sure to bring Crabigail, an Atlantic Blue Crab, up so we could see her. On our way back to the marina, Elissa pointed out a jellyfish and a stingray visible in the shallow water. This tour, at just $30, is a real bargain and not to be missed if you're in Gulf Shores!

Update from owners response: reviews are each person's individual experience and your criticism for not getting 5 stars and comment about going to a library instead was rude. You can't intimidate someone to change their perspective.I notice you pride yourself on being a Christian based company but are very ugly to anyone who gives you less than 5 stars. The only reason I said anything about crying kids & loud talking was to point out you can't hear your crew over that!!! It's constructive feedback! Something you're obviously unable to understand
( edited since it was too many words for the owner)
Once on the boat there was about an hour of just silence with an occasional fact from a crew member that you can't hear really well over children crying and people talking. They didn't have a microphone or bullhorn to make sure all passengers could hear what they were saying. After about an hour we arrived where Dolphin pods had been cited. Our boat and a corresponding boat went in circles repeatedly to get the dolphins 🐬 to chase us or jump/follow our waves. This was exciting because we finally got to see them!! However from all the turning I was getting nauseated plus the captain (who did have a microphone)would direct people on the left or right of the boat (there they are!) ect. With this direction people are going back and forth trying to see. Good luck getting a picture because it will probably include someone's head. I eventually gave up and sat down. After that, the last hour of the tour is the only fun part. Towards the back of the boat, the crew lead the kids in a water gun fight and showed them a shrimp, crab & small fish. All in all it was something to do but I wasn't impressed. There are signs posted everywhere to tip the crew and the captain comes on the speaker to also strongly encourage tipping and for your convenience the venmo online payment is available if you don't have cash. The captain also says how they pride themselves on not serving any alcohol and to support this business for it's values. I wouldn't waste my time or money honestly there are better cruises and experiences you can have at the beach.
