The water fight is completely optional.Both boats have a cabin for those who choose to stay dry. We saw several dolphins and the staff were very informative and went above and beyond. They were able to learn about crabs and shrimp even to the point of holding them. We will definitely go it again

The deckhands have a lot of activities to do on the boat in between seeing the dolphins. You might even get to hold a crab or some minnows. 😉 Only reason I didn’t give it five stars is cause they don’t do refunds once you hit that 24hr window. My mom bought tickets then my brother and I were trying to get on the same cruise as my mom. We couldn’t at first so I called on my mom’s behalf to try and get a refund and I was told no because we were in the 24hr window, but they helped my brother and I get booked and we all got to enjoy the cruise together!

But what makes The Fun Boats truly special to us is that it’s a Christian-owned business. We loved the family-friendly atmosphere—no alcohol, no inappropriate environment, just a place where families can have fun together. Their willingness to boldly share the Gospel in a world that often encourages the opposite was incredibly refreshing and meaningful. If you’re looking for a fun, wholesome, family-friendly adventure, we can’t recommend The Fun Boats enough. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town!

We did the sunset cruise which was very relaxing and beautiful while we got to see some dolphins. The water gun fight between the boats along with the thoughtful experience for the kids to learn more about sea critters and touch and see them up close was so fun! Our son also got to experience Captain Rusty's area and take pictures with him as well. We were also running late to the tour and got there about 10 minutes before time to leave due to traffic, we called ahead to let them know and they were ready for us to quickly get on the boat and join the tour when we got there. Very kind of them. Highly recommend to any family visiting the area and wanting a fun dolphin tour the whole family will enjoy! :)
