  This was the perfect place for a short beach trip with our kids. The setup helped with getting on and off the beach with quick trips back to the car or room. The pool setup was also great for kids under 5. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have had and the coffee shop was amazing. It was also super clean. I would highly recommend for family trips.

  This place was exceptional. Went way beyond our expectations. Best breakfast buffet. Great coffee bar. The staff was phenomenal very attentive and helpful. The pool side has a Great sit at bar for drinks 🍸. You can get daiquiris,mixed drinks,snacks and pizza. Defiantly every vacation trip to orange beach the Tides Best Western Premier hotel will be our place to stay hands down.

  I can’t rave about this hotel enough. We had the best experience at The Tides and were already considering booking for next year. We’ve frequented Orange Beach for several years now, being an Alabama native myself and having good friends who live in the area. We’ve stayed in multiple hotels and resorts, and I think this one is my favorite by a landslide. Parking was convenient and never jam-packed, navigation of the hotel is easy and quick, not to mention, the whole place smells excellent. The lobby is incredible with breathtaking views of the Gulf as well as a coffee bar. The breakfast buffet for $14.50 was truly amazing, one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had the pleasure to indulge in. The pool was always nice and clean as well as the pool deck and sand wash areas. If you love basic meets luxury, this is for you. We had everything we needed, and what we lacked, we didn’t miss. The AC in the room was KICKIN’. When I say kickin’, I mean that guy stayed at 60° and didn’t struggle. If you’re a woman in perimenopause or menopause, this is the hotel for you. Set that guy to 60° and watch the magic happen. The elevators are not slow as other reviews suggest. We never waited more than 3 minutes, if that, for an elevator. This is a small hotel, so for one set of elevators for 3 floors of rooms, I was impressed. Room service was on time, attentive, and consistent. Everyone was polite and respectful. We will absolutely be booking another trip at The Tides and can’t wait to go back! Book NOW!

  This Hotel is Terrible. When we First got to Our Room. Our Room Was Nothing Like They Advertised, The Room was Totally Different The Beds We're Not Very Soft, And Your Supposed to be Able to Get a Great View At the Beach But Nope It's On the Left Side, You can See the Highway and the Cars Going By. The Bathroom is Bad the Bathtub Don't Do Right You have to Struggle To Get the Plug In. But Even When's it Just Right It Takes 5 to 10 Minutes Just For the Water to Go up and the Water Only Came Up a Little Bit. The Room Was Terrible There Breakfast Was Good But Ridiculous Cause You have to Pay For Breakfast Breakfast Is Supposed to be Free But Nope You have to Pay. We Almost Lost Our Stuff Because They Turned Our Key to the Room Off. We had to Tell on the Lobby The Lobby Should've been On the First Floor Not the Fourth Floor. This Is the Worst Hotel This Is More Like the Worst Western This Hotel is Bad. I Don't Recommend Coming Here. This Hotel Just Lies After Lies After Lies. I Don't Recommend it. If You Need a Vacation Don't Come to this Screwed Hotel. This Place needs to Close Down.
