- WSWILLIAM StarrettAug 8, 20263.0As an IHG member, I have been to much better Holiday Inn Expresses. The breakfast bar was good but they ran out of eggs. I was down around 8:30AM and the eggs were not replenished. By 9:30AM the egg tray hadn't been touched. I believe they only had one baggage cart available. The place looked like a ragged remodel that didn't work for me. Slept well so overall it was fair at best. Just my opinion....

- EGEmerald GreenJul 1, 20263.0The hotel is very clean and the room was also very clean. The hotel is equipped with a key access to turn on the power in the room. I'm not sure if that is what affected the dampness in the room but everything felt very humid and damp. The toilet also didn't really want to flush. I had to flush it several times. Upon arriving to the room at approximately 11:00 p.m., they experienced a blackout. I'm not sure if that had to do with just the hotel or the surrounding area but it was definitely an inconvenience. It was so dark I couldn't see you even move in the room. It lasted for about 10 minutes. When I call down to ask about all the toilet not flushing, no one answered the phone.

The room was clean and comfortable, although there were a few minor maintenance issues like some flickering lights. Nothing that ruined our stay, but it kept it from being a perfect experience. The highlight was definitely the complimentary breakfast. It was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had while traveling. There was a great variety of fresh, tasty food, and everything was well stocked. We got there right when it opened, so we beat the rush, which made for an even better experience. Overall, a solid place to stay for a night on the road, and we'd definitely consider staying again.
