  Pet fee is $250 a night. That's not a typo, I called to confirm. The pet fee is higher than the price of the room for the night. Pure Insanity.

  I typically stay here when I’m on orders and I love this hotel but the newer front desk workers may need some new training. I had reservations to be at this hotel the entire week and I was checked out of my room and got a call asking did I come down and check out on the Wednesday of that week. I told them I did not. So not only did you not verify who you were checking out. You checked out the wrong person and never checked out the actual guest who was leaving. Probably won’t know until the guest callsh back and complains about the bill. Mind you that guest checked out at 7am and I was not notified about checking out until that afternoon. I’ve never had this problem before. I think the front desk needs to do a better job in verification before they just start pushing buttons.

  I stayed at Staybridge Suites Montgomery, Alabama, and the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The front desk staff showed no customer service attitude at all. I literally had to beg the staff just to receive the basic level of customer service needed to run a hotel. Tia G., in particular, was yawning, eye‑rolling, and sighing while interacting with me. It felt disrespectful, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. My room was never vacuumed, there were no toilet paper refills, and no kitchen detergent refills during my stay. I also called about extremely loud guests upstairs who were heavy on their feet, and management did nothing to address it. The laundry washer machines were broken, so I had to hand‑wash my clothes just to make sure I had something clean to wear for the next week. The gym was dirty, had broken equipment, and smelled strongly of mold and wet materials, making it completely unusable. Although the outside of the property looks newly renovated and elegant, the inside and the customer service are the complete opposite of its outside appearance. I was here for government training, and even after telling staff that, they still did not care. The “southern hospitality” that Alabama is known for did not exist here. For your peace of mind, go elsewhere. This property needs serious improvement in customer service, cleanliness, maintenance, and basic hospitality.

  Fantastic service, wonderful and friendly staff and walking distance to so many stores, restaurants, Troy University and important historical places of interest. Clean rooms, kitchen with full refrigerator. If you come to this area also visit Prevail Coffee House, just around the corner for the most amazing staff and beverages, with house-made treats every day! Would highly recommend.

  Are you KIDDING me with the $250 pet fee?!?! Our dogs are 25 pounds added together and we never take our eyes off them. How can you justify it? I’ve NEVER paid more than $75. Not staying at Staybridge again.
