  MOLD GREW ON THE CEILING AS I SLEPT and the manager said I “waited to complain”. I checked in Friday late night (1130pm) and immediately complained that there was a mold smell the manager on duty Mama E gave me for Febreze spray unacceptable unprofessional she could’ve definitely switched rooms or had some other solution but no. We left the room early as we were there for a birthday and had plans. The whole day our clothes were soaking in the mold. We arrived back at the hotel (11pm) and immediately placed our 3 children to sleep as we had a long day and anticipated another birthday celebratory day the next day HOWEVER we woke up to MOLD on the ceiling. I paid for double rooms for context and the manager on duty changed our room to a single room. After 70% of our stay was infested in mold and inhabitable conditions we were only offered 20% discount. The disgust. Our children were exposed to a harmful breathing environment, our plans were ruined having to switch rooms going from 2 showers and one shower, our days were impacted and delayed and for the manager to only offer 20% is more than negligent. Jay does not care about the visitors or even his staff. Making them work under such conditions is a violation of human rights. If you stay in room 202 just know they aren’t going to remedy the situation only paying over it… it’s disgusting.

  Okay room wasn't good had to change rooms as soon as we arrived. Did an early morning checkout, but Momma E took care of us and gave me impression she cares about what she does. Just ask her for some local restaurants to check out and she's got you. Thank you Momma E for making the stay less painful and more enjoyable.

  I planned on having a nice stay for me, my husband, and my 7 month old. When we had got the keys the 1ST ROOM we entered ended up having MOLD on the ceiling and the room smelled like MILDEW. I couldn’t breathe and I called and they just switched our rooms. We ended up spending one night in the 2ND room and I checked the bathroom and it had looked like they covered it with paint. The ac wasn’t working for 2 hours. NEXT MORNING there was a ROACH coming out of the ceiling this is when we left and I demanded a refund I had to go through Priceline on the phone to confirm. EVERYONE SAVE YOURSELF AND A TRIP FROM THIS HOTEL!

  When we booked the room the pictures looked very nice, so were the reviews. Lobby was very clean, modern, breakfast bar the same. The room we got, not nice at all. Sheets, although they were clean, they smelled funky. Shower curtain was very beat up & dirty. After 2 nights we asked the front desk to send someone to pick trash & give us towels, the ignored us. We had a great time regardless, not thanks to Staybridge.

  We came to gulf shores for a baseball tournament. Overall our stay was good. The only issue we had was that we got locked out of our room and my son missed his baseball game because we could not get back into our room. All his baseball stuff was in the room. It took 3 maintenance men to get into the room. When they finally got us in we were able to get ready and leave. We had to go to Pensacola Fl which was 45 minutes away. When we went to leave we tried to get back into the room and we were locked out again. We arrived at the game in time for my son to pinch run. When we arrived back to the hotel they had just finished. It took over 2 hours for them to fix the problem. I do understand things happen but my biggest problem is they told me that they would give me 10,000 reward points for my inconvenience once I checked out and it would take 7 days to show up. So once I got home I checked and there were no points. I called and spoke to the manager and they told me it would take 30 days from check out. It had been 30 days and I still do not have the points I was promised. When I asked for corporates phone number they told me they didn’t have it. All I wanted was for them to do what they said they would do.
