  I stayed at this hotel years ago and it’s just as disgusting as it was then. The pool area-the deck boards are rotting and the whole deck is warped. It’s squishy when you walk on it. The outdoor hot tub broke years ago so now it’s called a “cold spa” in reality it’s a Luke warm broken hot tub. It’s not cold enough to be a cold spa. Just a vat of cloudy stagnant water. The area going towards the beach that is sanded is littered with trash and cigarette butts. I was picking up tons of trash while walking. It’s just everywhere. The hallway to go to the room, the carpets are stained blackish from dirt from people walking. The room carpet is the same. You can see the clear path people walk. It’s just dingy and gross. You should not be walking there barefoot. The front desk area is clean. However supplies are lacking. There are no towels available anywhere. For our entire stay they were out of beach towels. I was able to get 2 towels from the front desk to use at the pool despite there being 4 of us. The cleaning staff were very nice and spent a long time cleaning rooms. It seems like a very busy hotel. It needs a serious deep cleaning. The upgrades they made are in poor workmanship and falling apart. The counter in the bathroom was falling off and held in place by a screw. I booked a room with a kitchenette. In the cupboards there was a cup, 2 mismatched bowls, 4 butter knife’s, a steak knife, a fork. Glad I brought my own stuff because the kitchenettes aren’t stocked. They do not offer paper towels, dish soap, scrubbing pad. The trash bin is the size of 1 gallon of milk at best so not usable if you’re using the kitchenette and have kitchen waste. The balcony view was great for ocean front. Years ago when I stayed street view the view of the pool was horrible. The indoor pool is just gross. It’s hot, the fans are all broken, there’s unfinished construction and wiring. They should bulldoze it and invest in more parking and upgrading the outdoor pool. The outdoor pool really could be such a focal point.

  Fan freaking tastic. Loved it! Planning on staying here again! Everyone was pleasant, Happy and professional. Beds- uber comfortable- lovely view from the balconies- AC on point! Heated shower water never ran out; front staff to the Pancake House to the cleaning staff to management and everything inbetween - we love you! You made a difficult time in our lives - amazing. And you didn’t even know what we had going on. You were just naturally fantastic! Thank you! From our hearts ro yours!!

  The hotel is very outdated. You should imagine staying at an older condo, not a traditional Best Western Hotel. The hallway reminded me of the smell/feel of sitting at an indoor pool...musty and dirty. The carpet was gross, everything was outdated. The room felt humid and sticky. We turned the air down, but it just seemed like it couldn't keep up. It was the beginning of May so it wasn't even that hot out yet. The bathroom is EXTREMELY small. Hard for even one person to move around in and wash face, etc. We had three girls staying for one night and they left us these teeny tiny little bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Most hotels have gone to using large bottles that attach to the shower. These are like half the size of the old school travel ones hotels use to use. There is also zero common space to use in the hotel. You can either be standing right at the check in desk, or sitting in the restaurant. No space to be in a nice lobby or anything. Overall it was way older and run down than I expected from the price.

  Candy was amazing best hospitality ever!! This woman will give you the info you need!! Decided to stay longer and was even more impressed by the hotel and the people! Candy and Heather are absolutely wonderful the kindness people you could meet. They are very helpful when you have any questions that need answered

  We would not stay here again. We enjoyed the location and the beachfront balcony, but the property is majorly lacking maintenance, pride of ownership, and service. They should take a look at and learn from the Holiday Inn Panama City Beach Resort, which demonstrates what a beachfront resort should look like. Cons: 1. Unfriendly front desk staff. They never acknowledged us whenever we walked through the lobby. Very standoffish. We are from the Midwest and were surprised by the lack of Southern Hospitality. 2. The pools were dirty and had a lot of sand in them. The outdoor hot tub wasn’t hot. The outdoor shower to wash sand off by the outdoor pool wasn’t working. There should at least be a sign telling people there is an outdoor shower by the indoor pool. The pool didn’t have shade umbrellas with the loungers. There is no pride in ownership at this property. 3. Dirty premises including lots of cigarette butts all over the place. The exterior landscaping is half dead. Lots of deferred maintenance. Pros: 1. Comfortable beds and we slept very good. 2. The housekeeping ladies were nice and smiled. 3. The location and view from the upper balcony room. Walkable to the Hangout area where we were attending a beach volleyball event. 4. The restaurant breakfast food was good and the waiter was nice. 5. The beach was great but could use a walkway down to the water area.
