This hotel is like staying literally inside of a garbage heap. It is absolutely infested with mold. It faces the freeway. When I asked to change rooms once I realized he had faced the freeway with my room, he refused until I became irate and he changed the room. Then he acted very sullen with me about it.
Avoid.

Worst hotel experience I’ve had in my life. The building immediately smelled like mold when we walked in - wet and musty. We unfortunately already paid online so we went ahead and got a room key. The room was appalling. The curtains had visible mold with black stains. The place was so humid the bedding was wet. Not to mention stains all over the bedding. Roof was leaking in the hall. They offered another room, just as bad. We were there 15 mins and they refused to refund us. I’d rather lose my money than subject my family to that. It’s a health hazard stay away. Also, I never leave reviews. I’m the most non confrontational person. So the fact I took time to do this I promise you it was bad enough that I have to warn others.
No clue how this place has 4.1 stars. Should have 0. Last thing we wanted to deal with after 12 hour drive with young kids.

We made reservations for 2 rooms in February for June vacation one of the amenities was pool. Imagine pulling up the pool drained and you travel 6 hours with grandkids waiting to get in pool. We went to check in and we asked the hotel rep about pool he said it was down for maintenance. I told him our grandkids were totally disappointed he said he could get up in at their partner hotel 3 miles down road. We checked in as you going down 1st floor hall it smelled of chemical. As we got to our room there was a liquid leaking down from wall in a bucket. As I opened our door it stopped half way and I had to put my shoulder against to open. We started to unpack my granddaughter knock on door saying they didn’t have a bathroom in their room, I laugh yes there is and proceed to the room next to out the door was sealed so tight they thought it was locked after a firm pull it open. My son decided to take them up on taking grandkids to partner pool they call to arrange well their pool was closed also. As I sat in our room my eyes started to burn at that point we made decisions to leave. I called the complaint number for Best Western talk to them about issues said we would get a email from corporate in 2-3 days never happen. Called back today they put me on hold called hotel to speak with manager no answer they said they would have them call it been 5 hours no call.

Pros:
Great beds, but they have some kind of plastic mattress cover which makes for a sweaty sleep.
Room was nice, adequate space.
Nice shampoo and conditioner (coconut 🤌🏼)
Air conditioner in the room was on when we arrived (thank you)
Breakfast was very good, which a decent variety of options
Cons:
The website says their pool opens Memorial Day weekend, it was completely empty when we arrived, it said nothing about that when we booked the room on the best western website and we were offered no discount. Disappointing because it was one of the reasons we booked here.
There are buckets in the hallway collecting water that it is falling out of the ceiling, appeared to be a long standing problem.
Air conditioning in the hallways was not working.
There is nothing near it within walking distance

My family and I stayed at this hotel for one night as we are passing through to Florida. For starters when we pulled into the hotel we were expecting to be able to swim with our two young children, but to our surprise the swimming pool is disgustingly green. Upon check in, we asked the employees when they typically open their pool. In which they responded with “it’s closed because of the weather” but you could obviously tell that the pool has been down for a while now. We brushed that off not a huge deal.
We have 4 separate rooms, to which all 4 have a musty mildew smell, again not a huge deal we sprayed some air freshener and it was fine.
Next day we’re about to check out in an hour and my two year old is being very quiet in the corner next to a chair they have in their rooms.
She walks over to me and has a glass Corona beer bottle in her mouth, of course I grab it from her and inspect it just to find a huge spot of black mold growing on the inside. I’m infuriated. I do the only thing I know to do and I call the desk. The man says he was going to come up to our room. He arrives and he basically blames us for drinking this beer and says these rooms are cleaned “daily”. Obviously not. We don’t drink. The man was very unprofessional about the situation. We will not be back. But I will be contacting someone higher.
For reference we were in room 214. PLEASE CHECK YOUR ROOMS. especially if you’ve got young children.
