Be sure to check other reviews too! We checked in long-term, we were supposed to stay a month due to a house fire. The hotel staff is rude and expression less. In the breakfast area at 8:15 AM, the lady maintaining the breakfast area was very quick to tell me that the children and I could not sit by the window at two small tables. That we needed to sit at the big table in the middle of the area. Someone else may want to sit there. She was not pleasant, in tone or demeanor, just very matter of fact. Im a 70 yo old dad with 3 kids 15, 14, and 7 yrs. I complied. Minutes later I approached the manager desk while she was there and explained I thought it was rude that she would move us in the manner she did. Breakfast lady Donna, immediately snapped back saying there could have been people coming in, sometimes they get busy, and she didn’t want to clean two tables. I replied, it’s just rude, you have to be kidding me there’s no one here! The morning manager told me to just go to my room! The manners are non existent. We were the only people in the breakfast area. I responded we would be moving out immediately, they said fine go. Never once was there an apology.
***Our school computer hacked while in the hotel and my son‘s phone was hacked while while doing homeschool. We saw reviews that other’s phones were hacked while in the hotel. We did laundry. When we went back to pick up the laundry, we were told by staff not to leave the laundry in there. We showed the lady that the laundry was still warm, it just finished drying. We were told that if we left laundry in the laundry room, it would be dealt with by the staff. We later found we were missing jeans, Columbia button shirts both my son and I were missing several shirts and jeans from the laundry. Didn’t complain.
***Fire alarm will go off several times a week 4:15 am seems a fav. Along with random fire alarms. Fire dept arrived no fire.
**** I read some of the other reviews and believe the other complaints to be on point. ***** If you’re traveling through, you may want to drive the other 45 minutes to Chattanooga or Birmingham, they do not appreciate your business. I spent six years, 30 days in and seven days out, staying in Marriott residents in, all around the country, never an issue. I’m very familiar with long-term hotel stays.
