The front desk attendant was incredibly busy but handled everything with such kindness and stayed calm while helping everyone in a timely way. Breakfast was the regular offerings, but by 9:00 (with a 9:30 close time), things were pretty empty. We later found out one of the breakfast staff hadn’t shown up, so there was only one woman managing it. I mentioned it to the front desk attendant, and she jumped in immediately to help. Then, as breakfast wrapped up, several others came in to help clean and make sure guests had been taken care of. We were really impressed and grateful to see a team step in and support each other and their guests so well.

Apparently the clerk was new and wasn't sure what to do. I said, look why don't we just go across the street to the Hampton Inn? The clerk indicated that she had worked for them and that both facilities were run by the same family. Before I left I verified that we would not be charged for the room and that she would make a note on my account. Surprise! I was charged. Even though I had a reservation number neither the customer service number or the hotel could find my reservation! Spent two hours talking to robots, reservation clerk at hotel and a human supervisor at the customer service center could or wouldn't even try to access my account! Nothing short of petty theft!!!
