  Our rooms were clean and large for all of our work bags and a nice place to stay after long and late work nights. Pleasantly pleased by BW Demopolis and all of the staff who served us so well.

  Best hotel breakfast in the game; real eggs, fresh fruit, espresso machine. Rooms are great, gym is not great. There was a nice looking cat roaming around outside everyday but it was shy.

  Stopped in partway back from vacation. This hotel was very clean, breakfast area was very tidy with a nice variety of food, grits, pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, fried potatoes, cereal, muffins, and more. Coffee was so-so, but hard to expect much from an automatic coffee machine. I gave our compliments to the staff on the cleanliness of this hotel.

  We stayed here after booking same-day on a recommendation from a local venue. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply frustrating. Upon arriving at our assigned room, we found it locked from the inside. We returned to the front desk, and a staff member accompanied us back upstairs, confirming that according to their records, no guest was checked into that room. We were offered an alternative “emergency room.” That room was also locked from the inside. We were ultimately moved to a third room before finding one that was unoccupied. When two separate rooms show up as available in the system but are clearly occupied by someone, the most logical explanation is that staff members are allowing people to stay off the books, and without record of their stay. This causes of course not only a issue for the owner and investors of this property but also for the guest that stay, if there are people staying in rooms without the knowledge of staff, I imagine that creates a safety issue for other patrons. It’s genuinely disappointing to arrive tired after a long day and spend that kind of time just trying to access a room you’ve already paid for. I’d recommend the owners review their room access logs and staff activity closely, including managers. Until that’s addressed, I can’t recommend this property to others, for reasons stated above and the obvious security risk this causes.
