  We went here last night to get ready for a wedding. Upon entering our room we smelled a musty odor coming from the ac and we found mold in some areas of the room. Along with that, there was some weird sticky white stain on the carpet. We asked for a room change and our second room wasn’t any better. The bed had dirt, sequins, fuzz, and what looked to be some kind of worm in the bed. We had already removed the comforters because they had stains on them. The room still smelled pretty bad and we were overall very dissapointed with our stay. We ended up leaving late that night because we didn’t want to stay.

  Would not recommend. Took longer than 25 minutes to check in. I did book on Expedia. However I specifically called the hotel the day before checking in to make sure we were good. It wasn’t good which led to an over 25 minute process to check in with my pregnant wife while we were trying to get to a rehearsal dinner. Something about how the Expedia price didn’t match what they had and they had to lower it dollar by dollar until it worked and it never did. I ended up paying at the counter at a higher rate just to get into a room. They did eventually clear things up with Expedia and gave me the one refund. After getting in the room it smelled horrible and was dirty. I’ll add some pictures, I didn’t take pictures of everything. Would highly recommend staying somewhere else. This is coming from an IHG rewards member.

  I came to Decatur on Sunday for a funeral in the city on Monday (yesterday). I laid one of my favorite dresses across the bed for me to put on once I returned to the room. Upon returning to the room, my dress was gone, VANISHED I immediately went back downstairs to speak to the young ladies at the desk. I asked them to contact housekeeping to see who cleaned the room, better yet, run the camera and tell whoever that was in the room to bring my dress back!!! I gave them my number and told them to call me, they never called. I went back down about an hour later and got.... WE LOOKED AT THE TAPE, APRIL FROM HOUSEKEEPING WENT IN THE ROOM BUT SHE SAID SHE DOESN'T HAVE YOUR DRESS. APRIL IS A BOLD FACE LIAR!!!! She is the only one who could have my dress as it didn't gain legs and walk out of the room. They offered nothing to rectify the situation, just looked at me like "oh well" and I told them I would be writing a review to tell people what happened. It wasn't like the dress had rhinestones or diamonds but it was MINE and I wanted my dress and the fact that it was taken out of the room by someone who worked their is unacceptable! No resolution it UNACCEPTABLE!!!! So if you are planning on staying at this hotel, place the do not disturb sign on the door and Do not allow any of the housekeeping staff into your room, especially not APRIL!!!

  Very uncomfortable beds. Wiped the bathroom floor it turned the washcloth black. Very loud. Don't think we will be back.
