  Was driving from another city, wanted to check in at 2:00. The desk clerk would not even check to see if our room was ready and told us we had to be back not until 3:00. So so we had to drive around for the next hour not knowing what to do but did find some interesting things. When we came back, the lady checking us in was less than friendly, but what really got me was the lady who came upfront who was mad and slammed her paper on the counter because she couldn’t use the computer while the other one was using it. We then went and loaded our stuff and I waited on my husband and heard her stay there griping loudly about everything about this hotel. I have never felt so un-wanted being at a hotel. These people clearly need training or help!

  Room was dirty when we arrived at midnight. Fresh human body fluids on bedspread. Mold in shower. Room change was not much better but we made due as it was 1am and we had a funeral to attend the next more and drove 12 hours. Very disappointed. Breakfast was gross. Just a really bad experience. Front desk never greeted us while we stayed upon entering or leaving. Also this property is falling apart. Definetly would never stay there again!!!

  While vacationing in lower Alabama, I chose the Best Western Plus Daphne Inn & Suites for its ideal location on the Eastern Shore. My three-night stay was the culmination of a week long visit to the area. The hotel is tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac and is conveniently located near a number of restaurants. My overall experience was positive with a couple of hiccups. Regina at the front desk reception was able to facilitate my early check-in and gave me a room on the second floor. The room was spacious with a king-sized bed and sitting area. The complementary breakfast was adequate with the standard cold and hot options. I liked the red home potatoes in lieu of hash browns. Some of the issues involved burned out light bulbs in the front entry of my guest room as well as the table lamp in the sitting area. I brought this to the attention of the front desk and they gave me new light bulbs. The other issue involved the elevator, which upon reaching the ground floor stopped in a halting and jerking manner. Other than those issues, my stay went well.

  The front desk gal was super sweet and accommodating. Pool was perfect for the kiddos to get out some energy. Room was a bit run-down but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was surprisingly good! Lots of choices and everything tasted great.
