  July 2026, my daughter and I stayed at this location along with my grandchildren. In the midst of our stay we took the children to swim 🏊‍♀️ in the indoor pool. The instant you opened the door to the pool, we smelled an overpowering scent of chlorine. Because we promised the children they could swim, we stayed. However, that stay was cut short. We had to leave. Because it was an indoor pool, and the ventilation was poor, the children started coughing, my eyes were burning while loungingin the chair. It was reported to front desk - nothing was done about it. The next day same pungent smell. Secondly, right now, I wear an orthopedic boot on my left leg, so I only brought right foot shoes. Packing to check out, my daughter thought I grabbed my shoe (HOKA tennis shoe) and I thought she grabbed it. However when we got home we realized neither of us grabbed it. It was left at the hotel. When I called and offered to pay to have it mailed I was transfered around for two days and promised a return call. Never received a return call so I kept calling and was finally told it was never turned in and that if it was left in the room housekeeping would have turned it in. That's a lie - because they didn't. $170 shoe was discarded thinking I wouldn't call for it.

  When I went to my room, I found the door propped open and all the lights on in the room. I went back down and requested a new room. I was creeped out for a bit. Other than that the room I stay in was okay.

  Staying here for three days. When I got to the room it was cleanish, could tell the cleaning job was half assed. When I walk by the ac unit the carpet is completely damp around it. Came back after doing labor work all day. They didn’t come an clean the room or refresh the towels. Along with the little signs saying help us be eco friendly by being mindful of how much you use in the room. From the plastic cups provided by them and the use of towels, I’m sorry but if the prices are going to be high, an I’m getting less for my dollar then we use too. What is wrong with your company? Just came back on my second day, didn’t take out the trash, refresh towel or clean any part of the room, your hotel service sucks. Also found a long black hair on my bed last night an I definitely don’t have that.

  Where to start?! Good and bad! The good.. the rooms are furnished very nicely with a reading chair and a desk and a chair. Comfy beds with a cover that they actually wash after each guests! The breakfast was very good even surprisingly good. Eggs and cereal and lots of yummy foods. Okay now The indoor pool is like a grotto and it was very crowded with lots of little kids. Ran out of towels and said they wouldn’t have any for hours. Need some pool rules. About 11:00 when we were trying to sleep someone above us was running and jumping off the furniture for 30 mins and yes we did call the desk and they said and I quote “I’m not surprised “ They did finally stop can’t really blame the hotel for that BUT…. It gets worse.. I had paid for the hotel through a 3rd party company… fine. When I checked in they still asked for a credit card for incidentals.. cause I told them I had already paid and showed them I had. Okay so they may need a credit card on file then when I checked out they charged me again! I questioned it but they said it will come off after I leave. I thought well maybe they have to make sure I didn’t steal a lamp or something.. anyway I had to call for 2 weeks and each time I called I left my number for the manager to call me but no .. no one ever did. Oh and one time the person I talked to told me my band was keeping it. I called my bank and they were like WHAT?! It took weeks and the company that I booked through to take care of it and get my MONEY BACK! It was ridiculous. I would never stay there again obviously and may not even trust any Holiday Inn Express.

  Got this room through Priceline on the road from one night 5/31-6/1. After we get back home, have a charge for $112 on card we gave them at check-in. Called them and still have not got refunded.
