Other than the fire alarm, the hotel was comfy but I wasn't comfortable enough to use their tub. It was fine, I'm just more of a shower person.
Breakfast there was so sad that I tossed it. Somehow even the waffles tasted wrong. The sausage was basically jerky and the eggs were watery. I didn't bother with the coffee...
Overall, I would come here again since it was nice and clean. The elevator is weird as it is in the center of the building and the door to the 4th floor is behind you.
The pool and gym looked nice, but interesting they are on the 2nd floor, as was the laundry.

We stayed at this hotel for one night during a long road trip, and it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Our room also had an office table, which was convenient for getting some work done during the stay. The staff was friendly and cooperative throughout our visit. We appreciated the hot breakfast in the morning, which was a great start to the day. The hotel is also conveniently located close to Birmingham Civil Rights Institute and Art museum, making it a great stop for travelers. Parking is available onsite. Overall, the stay was excellent value for money, and we truly enjoyed our short visit.

These light above the bed stayed on all night! No one knew how to turn it off. I looked and it was led lights with a plastic strip over it. I unplugged everything in the room and lights above the bed stayed on all night! Front desk was no help. I got the bathroom towels and rolled them up put them over the lights! We got no sleep! Look how dark the room with the dirty couch was!

After a long drive down from Chicago, we checked into our room only to find it dirty! Since we checked in around 8ish there was no staff to clean and no other rooms available. We are sleeping fully dressed as we are unable to shower! Shower and floor is dirty, and there is old urine stains on the toilet. Don’t want to forget sink has toothpaste splatter everywhere!

I’m only giving this a 2 because of the location. Room was filthy. Pieces of trash and heavy dust in the corners. Mirrors have so many finger prints and left over tooth paste from previous guests. I tried to give it a chance until I lifted the sheets to find what appeared to be a blood stain by the color. Not only on the sheets but on the pillows.
I went downstairs to raise my concerns and get a refund. The receptionist responded defensively and with attitude explaining she could either get me sheets or I can vacate the room for my refund for 1 of 2 days. Once coming back to give the keys, she told me condescendingly that my there was no paper receipt or proof I could get but that I’d receive it through email. Terrible experience
