- BBBrandonMay 7, 20261.0Update: iHG corporate told me to file a claim with my credit card company because this hotel won’t even call them back…Do yourself a favor and never stay here! We booked a room using the iHG app (like we’ve done at hundreds of other places) a couple of hours before we would arrive. We got confirmation and drove into town only to find out that they had plenty of available rooms they just weren’t clean and no one was there to clean them. The lady checking us in could not have cared less. It was 11 at night and there was plenty of time for them to call and tell us that there was not a room for us before we drove there. On top of that, the lady told us that she would cancel the reservation and that the card would not be charged. No sorry, or any type of customer service at all. So we went to the Tru by Hilton like we should have from the start. Now on top of all of that, I’m going through my credit card statements and my card actually was charged with no refund given.. I’ve call three different times between the 1800 number and actually hotel and get the same story that someone will call me back in 24-48 hours to process a refund and that’s been going on for a week.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME STAYING HERE (or trying to), they’re running some sort of overbooking fraud trying to steal money from people they turn away because they apparently never clean rooms (judging from the other reviews I wish I would have read beforehand)

We found the staff to be extremely friendly, respectful, and willing to do whatever necessary to make you have a pleasant stay. The room was clean and good sized. A surprise was the housekeeping staff.. they were very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was nicely set up and fresh coffee a plus.
