  Phillips Cruises & Tours, LLC made our glacier cruise experience absolutely perfect! The boat was modern and very comfortable, and the staff were friendly throughout the trip. We were lucky to see sea lions and sea otters, and they stopped the boat so passengers could take photos. The glaciers and icebergs were absolutely spectacular and made the whole experience unforgettable. The salmon chowder was also quite good, and it was very convenient to have restrooms on board. They also provide complimentary water, coffee, and tea. I Highly recommend Phillips Cruises & Tours to anyone visiting Alaska and looking for a memorable glacier cruise experience!

  We did the 26 glacier cruise in September, when most of the other tour activities had closed for the season. Booking a tour online was super easy. Tickets + meal vouchers had to be collected before boarding. The ride was really smooth, no bouncing around. From the comforts of heated cabin wildlife and glaciers can be viewed. We saw a seal colony and lots of glaciers. The glacier calving was highlight of the trip.

  The day cruise in Prince William Sound was excellent! The staff were friendly and worked very hard to make our trip enjoyable. The lunch served to us was tasty, the boat was immaculate and the captain provided commentary with what we saw along the way, along with a bit of history. We saw beautiful glaciers even in a light rainy day. The boat got within 2/10 of a mile of Harvard Glacier and the scenery was amazing. We stayed there quite a while too. Definitely recommend!

  Great day on the water! The narration as we cruised down the inlet was very informative and the sound quality was excellent even when you were out on the open deck. Lunch was served shortly after we set sail (before all the glacier views) and was good, hot, and filling. We saw so many glaciers and at the end of the inlet the ship stopped for awhile at the largest one and stayed for awhile so everyone could get close up pictures. Such a fun experience!!

  I had limited time while working in Anchorage so I booked the 26 Glacier Cruise and Bus from downtown Anchorage. All in it was close to $400 and while difficult to rate “value for money” on a flavor cruise I’m very glad that I did it. The bus takes a couple of house to get you to Whittier with a couple of scenic spots stops along the way. The welcome on board the cruise vessel was warm and friendly with lots of interesting facts announced over the course of the day. The chowder that was served was passable so pack some additional food or you’re stuck with a limited offering at the snack bar. The highlight was Harvard Glacier where we we spent about 30 minutes and we were lucky enough to see some spectacular “caving” - when the ice breaks off the front of the glacier and falls into the water. And then a Gin & Soda over glacier ice that the crew had fished out of the water.
