  Unfortunately you can hear everything up and around you including what people are playing on their TV's. The breakfast has a good selection, but its not great. Its ok. The people who serve there are super nice though. The check in and check out people are amazing. I will stay here again but there could be some improvements that could really help in the future.

  The service people from the front desk to the breakfast servers are fantastic, caring, and make it a point to make your experience great. My wife and I loved the room. Very spacious and ours even had a fireplace! We couldnt get anything close for the price elsewhere in Homer.

  I have nothing but poor things to mention about this hotel. I am a local as well. I had my clothes stolen by staff and I am certain of this. and the worst view may I add. the garbage truck banging and making alot of noise early in the morning is also unfortunate.

  Excellent Stay with Outstanding Staff and Beautiful Views I stayed at the Best Western in Homer while traveling for work and had an excellent experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. One small touch I really appreciated was the quick coffee available at the reception — perfect for early mornings before heading out. The rooms are large, very clean, and come in a variety of layouts, which makes the stay comfortable whether you’re traveling alone or with colleagues. The complimentary breakfast was great, and the view over the bay toward the glaciers while eating is simply stunning. Another highlight is the Otter Room bar, which is conveniently located right at the hotel. It offers great food and drinks, and you can play pull tabs while chatting with locals or the very friendly bartenders. It creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that really reflects Homer’s community spirit. The location is also fantastic — you can walk to the beach in about five minutes, making it easy to enjoy the scenery after a long day. One moment that really showed the quality of the service happened when my rental car needed a jump start. The Best Western staff immediately stepped in to help, and within 15 minutes I was back on the road. That kind of support makes a big difference when traveling. A big thank you to the entire team for such a welcoming and helpful stay. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when I return to Homer.
