Very old. Not kept up. Rugs in the rooms smell dirty. Sheets were old and pilled. No air conditioning but had a fan in the room which was full of dust. Breakfast was included but the food was cold and few options. This could be a cute historical hotel if they put some money into renovations.

The location is excellent; however, the cleanliness of the rooms leaves much to be desired. There was a lot of dust on the furniture, and the rooms are not well insulated between floors, so noise carries easily. The breakfast is very basic, and having some fresh fruit options would be appreciated. The staff are polite and friendly. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

This lovely boutique hotel is located next to the Hilton Tower. During my stay in Anchorage, I had the opportunity to experience both properties, and the smaller hotel was clearly the better choice.
The hotel is spotless and has a wonderful sense of history and authenticity. The furnishings are tastefully selected, and the chrome and copper metal handles shine beautifully. The colors of the chest of drawers, curtains, desk, table lamps, and mirrors all contribute to a warm and inviting atmosphere. The carpet is immaculate, and the bed is very comfortable.
Modern safety features, including sprinkler systems, have been added. To accommodate today's electrical needs, numerous extension cords have been installed to support the various appliances and devices used by guests.
The hot breakfast is hearty and generously served, with items replenished promptly. The most beautiful part of the property is the breakfast area, which has the charm and character to become an exceptional gemutlich-style bar or
restaurant.
The service is attentive, friendly, and efficient, making the overall experience especially pleasant.
