- MWMichael WareNov 14, 20251.0Made reservations through the IHG app, app showed a king suite with an additional living area with a full size couch and a hot tub in the room. On arrival hotel still has broken windows, the lobby smelled horrible, went to my room and yes it had the hot tub which was running on its last leg. Pump was making a horrible noise, the stopper was broken and letting out water, there was no additional living area and there was a single chair not a full size couch. Side door was constantly being propped open with a rock. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I am very disappointed in IHG for allowing this hotel to rip customers off with their false description of rooms and lack of professionalism and lack of security of their quest! I arrived at 630pm and checked out 5 hours later. Sleeping in my car was better than the room.

My shower head was so clogged from mineral buildup couldn't take decent shower. People are great and room was pretty clean. Breakfast area spotless and hostess was wonderful.

We were told there was a tornado, with hail, that came through a few months ago and the windows have not been replaced. We proceeded to our room and found the door blocked open with the safety latch. When we asked the front desk about that, she said it was not usual and blamed it on housekeeping. Not to be deterred, we spent the night and enjoyed the usual breakfast items. While packing up, my husband's leg found a metal bar from the bedframe and spent a few minutes trying to stop the bleeding (yes, he has thin blood) while I took a shower. No soap, not shampoo, no body wash. The bottles were there; just empty. Good thing I brought my own. Finally, as I was drying my hair, the dryer started making a screeching noise so I tossed it out of my hand as sparks were flying. I unplugged it and we told the housekeeper via a translation app on her phone. We also informed the front desk and she took notes and apologized. We prefer IHG hotels and esp Holiday Inn but not this one. If I could have given it a 0, I would have. I strongly feel it is unsafe and would not recommend staying. We won't be back to this one.
