Dirty rooms and they don't stock the bathrooms with hand soap. Girl at the front desk is rude.

This hotel is not up to Hampton Inn standard. The room was older but also wasn’t clean enough. It smelled bad and you could see they haven’t been cleaning well. Bathroom was not clean and we had to fix the toilet to get it to flush. Breakfast wasn’t good. There was no bat soap in our room and when asked for some the staff acted aggravated. Basic amenities should be in the room.

Two rooms that I’m aware of have curtains that can’t be closed and there are three big lights shining into the room right on the bed. The duty check-in person spoke very limited English and could understand even less. She told forever to check someone in and had no idea what she was doing. She issued keys without knowing who was in them. I suggested she get their names and she got a signature that could not be read. This was a disaster.

So, I was born and raised here in Winnie. I am now married and moved away, but I am here to attend a family funeral. When I arrived nothing seemed off. I got my room key and went up to my room. I thankfully had my husband on the ph as he was not able to come w/ me. As soon as I entered my room I realized it was someone else’s room. Thankfully they were not there and I ran out of the room. I ran downstairs and told the guy that could have turned very bad for me. He seemed like it was no big deal and just handed me another room key and told me to have a good night. I will be calling coronate over this because that could get someone killed or seriously hurt especially a female alone. And then when I got in the shower there was no shampoo. I had to use shower gel for my hair that should be checked after every guest. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. And my husband and I travel quite a bit, but I will make it a point to avoid any Hampton or Hiltons.

I was a little disappointed. The curtain draw stick was off on one side. There are three sets of curtains. I could not get the one directly next to the window to close properly. The thick blackout curtains did not close at all and the room faced the bright lights from outside. The AC was a unit in the wall, even though there was a central AC control box on the wall. It was very loud. No AC reached the bathroom, which made it very hot to get ready. At breakfast, the milk was sour. Also, the spout only let a trickle through and took forever. There was only one fruit, apple and no boxed milk or the usual that I am used to at the standard of the Hilton’s I have stayed at before. It was a very slim selection. The room was a nice size and the bed was comfortable, but even though the furniture had been dusted, the lamps and charging port looked like they hadn’t been touched in a month or so. They were covered in dust. The staff was friendly, but I don’t think I will be staying here again.
