  Rooms and hotel aren't fancy, but clean. the gm, Adreanne, went out of her way to find a room for me when they were sold out.

  Terrible experience and the manager did not keep her word. We went to the first room assigned to us and found the door open, no linens, no towels. Just a bare mattress in a dark room. Upon returning to the lobby to get a different room, the surly front desk manager told us we should have called from the room we were assigned to instead of coming to the front desk to change rooms. This made no sense since we needed to get our new room keys and return to old ones at the front desk. Around 10:30 PM in room #2, a raspy screeching and buzzing noise started. It continued to start and stop while we tried determining where it was coming from. By about 11:30 PM we located the source of the noise: it was a faulty smoke detector. The only way to make the noise stop was by dismantling the SD. When I took it apart, a shower of dead roaches fell into my hair. The same manager called to ask what was going on with the smoke detector. Once I told her, the only thing she seemed to care about was getting off the phone. At approximately 1:00 AM, the noise started again. It was too loud to sleep through, so I called the front desk and asked for another room. We repacked all of our belongings and moved into a new room in the middle of the night. This time, there was a different lady working the front desk. She was kind and said we should get a refund. During our check out the next morning, we had the surly manager again. She took all of my contact information and said she would need to call the travel service that we used to book the hotel. She said she would get us a refund and call us later that same day. That was ten days ago, and we have never heard from anyone at Spark. We will be traveling through Wichita Falls numerous times in the near future. I will never stay at their Spark hotel again.

  I stayed here a few nights ago and it was the best experience I’ve had with a Hilton brand hotel in a few years. The rooms aren’t anything special, but it was clean and quiet and both the evening and morning desk attendee were very nice. The breakfast was pretty weak…they didn’t even have OJ or pancakes/waffles. I’d stay here again though.

  Easy to get to. Our last minute stay for one night and two queen beds was $100 after taxes. Brand new, or completely remodeled to look brand new. It has that new-hotel smell, which is so refreshing. Plenty of storage for our family of 3. Bright white bedding and towels. Continental breakfast is included. Receptionist was delightful, even at 10 pm.
