  I highly recommend this hotel. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, the staff were so friendly and helpful. It is rare to find these days. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and stores, just off the interstate, and near where we were going. It is on a quiet street and it felt safe. The rooms were huge and the AC was excellent. The price was really great. I wish I would have asked the names of the front desk clerks that evening and night because they went above and beyond to make our stay great.

  I booked this hotel through a third party and received an email confirming that my late arrival request was approved. When I arrived to check in, I was told the room I booked was no longer available, and the blame was placed on the third-party booking service. Instead of making it right, I was given “any” room they had available and when I say any, I mean that. It was not the suite I paid for, yet there was still a price difference that I was told I would have to wait until Monday to address with a manager. By Monday, I’ll already be back to work and back to real life, so that solution does nothing for me. I got stuck in a top-floor corner room by the stairwell—the kind of room hotels usually save for last, not for guests who paid for a suite. I tried to find the silver lining and just be thankful to have a room, but even that didn’t work out. The air conditioning was not working properly. After a long day, no one has the patience to deal with extra issues when it’s finally time to unwind. I didn’t even bother going back and forth with the front desk, knowing I would just be told again to wait until Monday. So in the end, I paid more for a suite I never received, couldn’t get comfortable enough to sleep, and was left with no real solution. That is unacceptable. And no, a bottle of water is not the answer for getting it wrong. If you’re looking for a place to stay; look elsewhere.

  My experience with this hotel was horrible. I reserved a room coming from out of town which stated that I didn’t have to pay until I got to the hotel. When I finally made it, the front desk clerk told me that the room has been cancelled because they were getting full. The night manager was cheerful when she was talking to a guest in front of us, but when she got to us, her demeanor changed. My room shouldn’t have been cancelled because the hotel was getting full. That was the whole point of reserving a room so I can have it when I made it. I didn’t get a phone call or email stating that it was cancelled, and that left me scrambling trying to find another hotel.

  The folks at the front desk were fantastic. Knowledgeable about the area and they provided some great options for activities and restaurants. The area was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go and the room was very clean.

  Michelle Marquez provided exceptional customer service during my stay. My employer had booked my two-week stay as two separate reservations, which meant I would normally have to check out of my room, pack everything up, leave, and return at 3 p.m. to check into a new room. When I explained the situation to Michelle, she took the time to look into my reservations. Although she couldn’t keep me in the same room, she went above and beyond by finding another room that I could move into right away so I didn’t have to leave and wait until 3 p.m. Her willingness to help and her outstanding customer service made a big difference in my stay. Thank you so much, Michelle!
