- MHMegan HoodNov 15, 20255.0Top notch hotel, beautiful room and great value. My dad is in the hospital and I just wanted a clean and safe space to return to when I could. Despite it being very late at night and my mom trying to book a hotel for me from Minnesota, I decided to give Candlewood a go and I am so relieved I did. Priya was exceptional in helping my mom make a reservation over the phone. She was understanding and willing to go above and beyond in making me feel welcomed and at ease upon my arrival, late Tuesday night. She even greeted me by name when I walked in and had everything ready to go so I could get straight up to my room and drop my things. Thank you Priya, for your compassion and willingness to get me settled in quickly! While the hotel is older, the room and amenities were fantastic. It was renovated, quiet, clean, and I had a fully stocked kitchen with bowls, strainers, utensils, knives, you name it. There was a brand new refrigerator to store my meals and even a new dishwasher to help with cleaning up. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in at a hotel and there was a little closet to hang my clothing. There was even a laundry basket to help transport my dirty items to the laundry room, which was so convenient to use, as I don’t have to wash my clothes when I get back to Minnesota today! As a busy mom, I love that! Candlewood is an incredible value and run by a wonderful and kind staff. It is walkable to restaurants, shops, gyms and the hospital systems here in Webster. It took me mere minutes to get to UTMB Health and the city felt very safe. Truly such a relief to find this place after such a rocky start to my trip. I originally booked at Platinum Inn & Suites and it was disgusting. My room wouldn’t lock when I left, it was dirty and the tv didn’t work - they would not give me a refund so I decided to leave and eat the cost. Taking a chance on Candlewood was the biggest blessing. Thank you so much to all of the staff who work hard to make their guests feel comfortable and safe. I’ve already booked my next stay, an 8 night visit around Thanksgiving, and I’m excited to know I’ll have an awesome spot to return to. Thanks again for everything! - Megan Duluth, MN

The room came with a fully furnished kitchen, which was super convenient. The staff provided excellent customer service and made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. It’s in a prime area that makes exploring the city easy and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in town!
