  My only real complaints are the tv and tge restroom. We supposedly need 2 remotes for this tv and it's hit or miss on which will work. (Currently neither are). The bathroom toilet paper dispenser is missing a screw and lists to either side. And, for some reason the light is triggered by movement. If you aren't moving too much in the shower or toilet it will go off. If someone is trying to go to the restroom during the night without waking someone else, thst light comes on when you open the door. Thus waking the other sleeper. Having said that, the room is quiet. And really decent sized. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is free and decent. Overall, I would give it a 4.

  I would give 5 stars if my review was only based on the sweet long red haired girl that initially checked us in. Very kind and helpful. There is a student discount for Nelson University students that we were unaware of. She said to check with her manager in the morning to see if we could use the discount since we went through a third party company. We were in town celebrating our daughter’s birthday. She said they had a room they rent for meetings and said it could be used for parties too and to also ask the manager about it. The next morning we went to speak to the manager. She was quite opposite of the friendly clerk we dealt with the previous night. When we inquired about the discount she curtly stated nothing could be done since it was a third party as we suspected. I asked about the room for my daughter’s party. I had heard wrongly that they might rent to students free of charge and when I mentioned that she scoffed and said no it is not free. I asked how much and she asked how many and how long? I said that would depend on the cost. She then said starting at $500 and that’s when I said oh boy no thank you. Another reviewer mentioned a weird power trip vibe and that’s exactly what I got too. We wanted to extend our stay but they were all booked up. We ended up across the way at the new hotel which is extremely nice and cheaper than going through a third party or the cost to stay here. Their pool at the new hotel unfortunately is closed but the pool area and hot tub here smelt like fish. The hot tub did not get hot at all. We also found a roach in the bathroom when we were gathering our stuff to check out. I’ve heard if you see one that usually indicates a larger and hidden infestation.

  All the basics covered. I'm enjoying my stay here clean lobby, hallways and rooms, bathroom is clean and appears to be recently remodeled. Breakfast was limited but typical of a free hotel Breakfast. The beds waa comfortable. Overall a good option for the money.

  This hotel is a little difficult to get to unless you are coming from the south on I35E. It is located right at I35E and Hwy 287 but I've never really noticed road noise. Prices seem to have come down some since competition built a new hotel next door. Hilton has infused some renovation dollars here and the front desk personnel have always been helpful and friendly. I stay here fairly often for business.
