- LHlarry hancockNov 18, 20251.0The young lady who checked us in was friendly and professional. As diamond members she offered us our complimentary water. Upon entering our room it was clean, a bit outdated but no biggie. Things went downhill from there though. While walking our dog around the property the trash cans for pet waste were overflowing with regular trash. One of them was eventually emptied and the other one remained full after three days. On the third morning of our stay a water pipe burst. Water was pouring on the outside of our door, it started coming inside so we had to ask housekeeping for towels to keep it from coming in further. With zero concern from hotel staff we put our trash can outside of the door to catch the water. Then water started dripping onto the TV from the ceiling, had to use the ice bucket to catch the water. Notified staff and again zero concern and told we couldn't move rooms because there were none available. Water was turned off for around an hour. We had a wedding to attend that afternoon so didn't have time to move to a different hotel. At no point during the water intrusion did one staff member show any concern or check in with us to make sure that there wasn't any damage. The ceiling had water stains and our room smelled musty. Upon check out (we left a day early) we were given a $15 discount. When my husband asked about it the front desk clerk snatched the receipt from his hands and rudely pointed it out. We are loyal to the Best Western brand but are completely turned off now due to the hotel's lack of concern and nonchalant attitude towards the water leak issue. On a side note, I really hope they do proper water mediation as water was pouring down from the third floor gushing into the lobby area. They were using the large laundry housekeeping carts to catch the water. If not, I would be very concerned about mold issues within the walls.

- MDMeagan DavisSep 28, 20255.0Great hotel for our needs. The beds were stiff but if you like that then you'd love their beds. Other than that the hotel was very clean and the breakfast was great. Rooms were very comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. There was also a huge wedding party going on right below us and we couldn't hear a sound from our room. Next time we travel to Waxahachie this will definitely be where we stay again. Thanks Best Western!!
