- DDDSNov 4, 20251.0During our stay at this hotel, my brother lifted the mattress and found two used syringes underneath, and one filled one. We immediately notified staff and emailed management, but no one ever responded, not a single manager, even though we were told they would call us. Days later, we’ve still received no acknowledgment, apology, or follow-up. To make matters worse, the shower in our second room didn’t work, and there was visible black mold on the lampshades and AC units. We were in a remote area with few hotel options, or we would have left immediately. I’ve since filed a complaint with the Health Department and escalated this to corporate. This level of neglect and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable.

He told me I lied about the room I reserved for #PVHC25 then proceeded to tell me to get the hell out of his hotel or he would call the police. Prairie View alumni is what keeps money in there pockets and then they try to treat us any kind of way and expect us to just except it because it's close to the yard. I refuse to ever give those people my money.

The mattress was so firm it could double as a parking lot, and the water temperature hovered somewhere between “glacier melt” and “lukewarm disappointment.” By morning, my back felt like I’d wrestled a brick wall, and I’m pretty sure the shower was just taunting me. The only thing hotter than the water wasn’t the water — it was my irritation. Would I stay again? Only if every other hotel, motel, and cardboard box in the area was booked solid.
