  We had the pleasure of staying at this Best Western Plus Waller Hotel. I was initially impressed with this hotel back in September when visiting a business associate. As a result, I booked 4 rooms for an over night stay in order to attend December graduation ceremonies at Prairie View A& M University. When we arrived for checkin we were greeted by two friendly young ladies at the desk. They took great care in assigning us rooms in close proximity to each other. We were very pleased with how spacious, clean and comfortable the rooms were. The next morning we were pleasantly surprised with a delicious hot breakfast that included sausage, eggs, hash-browns, waffles, etc. Also, coffee and delicious cranberry juice! The breakfast attendant worked nonstop to insure that there was plenty of food for the large crowd gathering in the breakfast area. Our overnight stay was short but very much enjoyed! Our son has now graduated from PVAMU, but should the need arise to visit the area again, rest assured, this Best Western Plus Hotel will be our first choice! Thank you for making our weekend so wonderful! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  Nice staff, good breakfast, great location to where we needed to be and easy to get to off the highway. So, my ratings are a little all over the place. The reason for this is that I personally did not have any issues with this hotel. We were only there for one night and when we left, I would have recommended it highly. However, once we left the hotel and about half a day later, my niece who was in the room couple doors down from us, became to itch. Once we got home and later that night, it got worse and she became to develop welps on her body to the point that she went to the urgent care because it looked like she was having an allergic reaction to something. Nope... BED BUGS!! We had to go home and throw everything in the washer and run it on hot water to kill any remaining bugs.

  12/10/25 Front desk clerk De' Leon was a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way!!! He helped us sign up and was very informative about food in the area. Had great converaation. On the morning of 12/11/25 the young lady serving breakfast was also 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. She was polite and made sure we were happy with what was served and made sure we didnt need anything else before closing shop. The reason for the 2 star was the room was disappointing. That weird ruff top cover in the bed was awful. Pillows were so old we went to truxk and got our own. When I pulled back that ruff top cover I noticed what seemed to be mascara and also some kind of sauce on the quilted one. This cover was NOT washed. That really pissed me off. We again went to truck and got all of our stuff to sleep with. Redoing beds without washing is a complete NO!!! Cutting corners is out of the question when it comes to cleasingness!!!! Its been many, many years since we stayed at a BW and now remember why! Also, whoever decided the lemon soap is a thing! Its NOT! Get with the program of other hotels who are using DOVE! You are the same price as everybody else. Or just become a INN and lower the price.

  I stayed with family at Best Western Waller. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfast was truly amazing—fresh, delicious, and with plenty of variety to start the day right. The service throughout my visit was excellent as well; every staff member was warm, attentive, and ready to help. What really stood out was Neil's personal involvement who is managing this hotel. He and his staff genuinely care about guests’ comfort and go above and beyond to make sure every need is met. It’s rare to find such dedication, and it made my stay feel even more special. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for great service, a fantastic breakfast, and a welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely return!

  Stayed for 3 nights visiting family for Thanksgiving. The check-in process was smooth & easy; the front desk attendant was friendly but not very interested in engaging in small talk. Where we were placed on the floor was very quiet and we liked our view of a field, but there was occasional road noise that was distracting. Our room was very clean and we liked the modern decor. We were pleased to receive more than enough towels for the 2 of us during our stay; we also liked that we had a functioning tv, A/C, and mini-fridge, some of which can be lacking in other hotels. Internet was sufficient but slow at times. I used the fitness center twice during my stay. The only downside for me was that I wasn't able to get on the treadmill immediately on the first day; a second treadmill might be a good idea. The location of the hotel was perfect for what we needed and it felt safe; it is near a few dining establishments, small businesses, & a grocery store with easy on & off access of the freeway. My only complaint of the hotel was breakfast. It was standard fare but the sausage & bacon was greasier than I would have liked. Also, breakfast ran until 9 AM each day of our stay, but on one day, I didn't make it down to breakfast until about 8:45 AM, and by that time, there were no hot items. On other days, I noticed that the employee shut off the lights immediately at 9 AM and also turned off the waffle maker when a guest was waiting for the one he just prepared to finish cooking. Consider preparing a little more for any late guests or extend the breakfast time and be cognizant of guests. Overall, the price, amenities, and location were satisfactory for us and we would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
