  From the beginning of checking into this hotel I knew there would be problems. I arrived shortly after 2pm and was told that likely my room wasn’t ready since it was before 3pm, and if the room wasn’t ready I’d have to pay for early check in even though I’m an IHG member. I also brought my dog as the website stated this hotel was a dog friendly hotel. No where on the website does it say that the pet policy that the animal cannot be left alone, which was only informed upon arrival, stating that leaving the animal would result in an extra $150 charge. I explained I was traveling for business and not leisure and there wasn’t a way for me to bring my pet along and that he would be secured. Upon receiving my room keys I was told that they forgot to check if the room was even clean and if it wasn’t I could put my stuff inside the room and come back later. I then brought my items and my dog inside the hotel for the same staff member to day “wow that’s a very big dog” the entire exchange was unnecessary and I spent 35 mins locating another hotel and leaving. Only to be charged a one night stay at this property because I had been inside the room that wasn’t even verified to be cleaned prior to giving me the key.

  Nice hotel the train tracks being so close takes some getting used too and the breakfast isn't very good other than that the service and rooms were nice and clean

  Great find! Had to layover from Saturday until Monday. They were quick to accommodate and efficient. Very friendly and clean. Nice Suprise . Thank you

  Stayed on a Saturday night. After a brief hiccup of assigned a room that hadn't been cleaned (which multiple staff quickly jumped in to address and correct) we were given an absolutely gorgeous room! The room was immaculately clean with the most comfortable bed we had ever had in all our travels! Breakfast was hot, fresh and filling. Staff was extremely helpful and at checkout manager was still apologetic of first room problem. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

  This hotel is located right off the highway and is newly remodeled. Very clean, staff is super friendly and responsive and the free breakfast is just the cherry on top! I slept like a baby in the new beds. Would definitely come back when visiting Victoria, TX!
