- CBCatherine Bloom1 day ago1.0We selected the Best western because it had a hot tub only to find out that they had closed the hot tub for the season. Then I went to take a hot bath and I couldn’t get the stopper to stop up. I called the front office and they said that I could not use the bathtub because they were having issues with the bathtubs leaking so they prevent you from taking a bath. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

Over all it's a 2.5 Hotel rooms were just ok, could be much cleaner and up to date.. no bar of soap in bathroom, towels are frayed and the pool towels we were given were old stained bathroom towels.. furniture had holes in the upholstery, bathtub faucet when switched into shower mode did not work well at all, and the water was constantly leaking from the faucet. GM said he gave maintenance the holiday off but then he said they came to turn off the hot tub.. this is simple and slightly silly, but we specifically pick hotels with hot tubs because we enjoy using them as a family. We booked four rooms for three nights and called several hotels in advance to ask if the hot tub was working and they said it would be working. But the "motor went out" the first night, then it worked the second night and third night it was "leaking". That's a lie, the resentful unhappy manager doesn't want other people to have a good time- misery loves company. We had a room door lock left in lock position so kids and adults could come and go from main room for an hour, GM called our room and told us it was going to break the latch and to stop entering and exiting the room. So rude. One morning we found the GM laying on the floor outside our room with his phone looking under another room door, or "stretching his back" general manager has a Napoleon complex and has an ill will toward guests and does not want anyone to enjoy life if he cannot. Napoleon complex He was rude and short with us, with patrons from all four rooms, wouldn't even come out of his dark office room in the corner when guests were asking for assistance, he talked from the dark. We have plenty of family that stay regularly, we will not be staying there again. Best Western, I know you can do much better!
