We are frequent flyers of this specific hotel. We stay going and coming back from our road trip destination every year. The front desk staff is nothing to write home about but they are not rude, just not overall friendly. I do feel like the morning staff is much more friendly/personable than the evening staff. The rooms have really comfy beds (we always stay in a king bed room with a sofa pull out). I do wish that bedding was automatically provided for the pull out, but we always have to request it, and they have to go "look" to see if they have any available. Usually they have it available but its a flat sheet and a super janky thin blanket. The recent trips we try to remember to just pack our own. I think the bathrooms could use an update but from our experience, it all seems to be working and clean. I love that there is shampoo/conditioner and body wash available in the shower. The shower pressure could be better too, but it does the job. The breakfast is my daughter's favorite part. You have several options including, Cereal, oatmeal (with fixings), pancakes, eggs, sausage (pork or turkey), bagels, and muffins. My daughter is a huge fan of the cinnamon rolls and I have to admit, they are delicious. They also have cold items such as Yogurts, hard boiled eggs and milks. There is a juice machine too (orange, apple, etc). My husband and I are fans of the fresh brewed coffee. Always hits the spot. If you're traveling through Van Horn and need a place to stay, I'd recommend this one! Side note! If you're needing a delicious meal close to this hotel, I highly recommend "Broadway Cafe!" Only about 4 minutes from the hotel and lots of options.
