  We chose this location over others in the area specifically based on verified reviews. Unfortunately I cannot fathom that these reviews are legitimate. I booked online using my IHG account and was shown a pool view ground level double queen room, which I chose. Upon arrival I was asked if we wanted floor 2/3/4? I explained that I had already booked the room and chosen ground level pool view. I was then told there are no ground level pool view rooms. I was also informed at check in that none of the patio doors shown in the photos open for safety reasons! After having just spent 2 nights in an IHG/Holiday Inn property with balcony rooms that were accessible, this was surprising and disappointing. We chose floor 2 for our room. Once I completed the check in I was handed the key envelope with our room on the 4th floor. Never once during the whole ground level, pool accessibility, room availability discussion during check in did the employee mention that THE POOL ISN'T EVEN OPEN AND AVAILABLE FOR USE!! WHAT?!? The room is small, muggy, sticky feeling handles/switches, we had to request new pillowcases because all of the pillows on one bed smelled heavily of men's cologne/recent use, there is obvious water damage in the bathroom ceiling and poorly attempted repairs that stick out like a sore thumb. Luckily this is a layover one night stop for us to sleep and move on, but we really could've done better for 1/2 the costs at a hole in the wall local place I'm sure!

  Booked a poolside room online, they tell us upon arrival there are no poolside rooms. Didn't mention poolside was seasonal and was currently closed. Had to get new bedding as ours smelled like b/o an cologne. Staff was really friendly, but this is far from what we expected from our experience with H.I.

  Weird smell all over the hotel. Extremely hot water coming in shower which almost burned 2 people In the group. No cold or normal water in the shower.

  Very nice place. No free breakfast, pet friendly with low fee, and great service from all employees
