I stayed there a few weeks ago for 3 nights. Every night I came back to my room and had roaches all over the walls and bed! I can’t imagine what happened when the lights were off. I told my employer I will never stay in this hotel again.

Service was great! But this holiday was pretty pricey bc it’s “suites” but we a little disappointed. Breakfast bagels and bread were hard. Bagels were so hard we couldn’t cut them with a knife. Disappointed in the breakfast drinks options. Only options were coffee , water, or orange juice that the bar could only serve us. Usually Holiday Inns have great drink options for breakfast. The room provided coffee, but they provided us no water bottles to even fill up our coffee machine. It was 9am and we had a cleaning lady walk into our room, while we were laying in our bed. Besides all of this.. Every staff member was very nice.

I am a Diamond Elite member with IHG Hotels. I stayed here overnight on a business trip and was very impressed with this IHG property. The room was clean. The front desk staff were friendly. The bar area was thriving with people, karaoke, friendly bar staff offering complimentary nachos. The next morning while enjoying breakfast, I had a great conversation with Brandy, the corporate sales manager, who is trying to promote events / travel to Tyler, Texas as this hotel is well postioned for accommodatng group meetings. I will be staying at this property next time I am in town and I highly recommend others to stay at this hotel when in the area.

June 5th, 2025 was my first layover here in TYR. I enjoyed this hotel very much. My hotel room was so spacious, clean, organized and well thought out. It was such a pleasant surprise that my room included and medium fridge, full size microwave and Keurig coffee machine. We crew members certainly appreciate when we're able to warm and store our food that we've brought w/ us as it is difficult to eat while working multiple flights. Another pleasant surprise seeing that my room had a balcony but unfortunately it was locked and being unable to open the balcony door to enjoy the beautiful evening view and weather during my stay. Update! Oct.9-10th overnight before our 6pm flt. back to Dallas. During this visit I was able to dine in for the hotel's breakfast. There was a nice selection of breakfast items. From hot oatmeal with assortment of toppings, to fresh fruit, yogurt, as well as individual yogurt parfaits topped w/ strawberries and blueberries, to two types of scrambled eggs one to include ham and fried potatoes. There was also sausage links, bacon and my favorite item was the warm ooey gooey cinnamon rolls topped w/ dried oats in a delicious caramelized sauce with the option of chocolate syrup to drizzle on top. I normally skip cinnamon rolls offered in a buffet setting due to the dry and hardened texture but it was awesome to find that this wasn't the case and had to go for a larger piece the second round.
