But the lamp was not on and would not turn on. I showed him a picture of the lamp and how there’s no light showing through the shade. He stared blankly at me. Told him that it looks like a recording device and that I was going to put a sock over it. I’ve never experienced something like this at any hotel I’ve stayed at. I showed pictures of the lamp to a few people, who all thought it looked suspicious. The lamp was very suspicious and concerning, as a woman.
