I had the absolutely worst experience at this Holiday inn. I am a truck driver that is training another driver. I came down early to put my things in my truck. By the time I made it downstairs (after 10am), the breakfast was over. I took my things outside and came back in to drink some coffee while I waited for my trainee. When I walked in the door I was rudely greeted by Ironda. She said "how can I help you?" I did not stop at the counter and ask for assistance, so I said I did not need any help. She then asked me "do you have a room in this hotel?" I said yes. I looked at her and wondered where this was coming from. She walked over to her computer as asked me for my last name or my room number. I did not tell her anything but reached in my pocket to get my card key. I pulled it out and told her my room number. I was extremely upset by this point. She then said "I don't know you." I told her that I did not ask for your help. There were 2 wonderful ladies at this hotel and it was NOT Ironda! 1 was the breakfast lady with Grey twists. She was kind and extremely helpful. 2 was Carneish. She was extremely pleasant and concerned. My hats of to these two.

The hotel is clearly outdated and showing its age. While the room was usable, there were several cosmetic issues throughout the property — worn finishes, dated fixtures, and general signs of deferred upkeep. That said, the staff were friendly and courteous, which helped make the stay more pleasant. Overall, it could really benefit from a refresh and better attention to appearance!
One of the best team of people we've encounter in a long time and we travel alot. From the front desk Miss Ironda and Miss Olivia to the breakfst area Miss Janet, they are some of the most positive and professional and just all around pleasant and GREAT energy people I've encountered and I pray they stay the same. The rooms are always clean and breakfast is always hot and fresh...yes, please and Miss Janet, thank you for the crunchy bacon, you are the MVP for that👍🏻👍🏻
This is our favorite place to stay, when we come to visit family. Miss Ironda and Miss Olivia are always friendly, welcoming, and professional, at the front desk. They are always smiling and very informative, we come here once a month, and they've been the same, everytime. Another reason we like staying here is because Miss Janet, that works over the breakfast area, she is so positive and welcoming and the breakfast is always hot and fresh. I don't know how she does it, but the bacon is always crunchy...crunchy bacon at a hotel, that's free is unheard of, but she makes it happen, so thank you Miss Janet. Also, the biscuits and gravy, always warm and ready, another family favorite. All and all I'm happy with the entire stay, EVERY TIME we come to town. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS TEAM
Great lil cozy place in a good location with friendly staff and clean rooms. Most of all tho has fantastic breakfast and awesome kitchen staff. Lynda made sure we were taken care of. She was welcoming making us feel right at home and made us laugh. Amanda is new but was friendly and very attentive. So glad we choose to stay here and will stay again if ever we come back.
